1. How many weeks are you?

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally?
Physically feeling well, anxious at times, but trying to take it day by day.

3. Any appt updates? Looking forward to our next on Tuesday.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
Im sorry I was not around this week! I was training for disaster meeting medicine/ rescue. It was really intense and dangerous, but I made it through safely and I am kind of amazed I did it at all especially while pregnant. I included a photo below in front of one of the smaller rubble piles we trained on.

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday? I really prefer the summer holidays, fishing, summer sun and family BBQ time. They seem to be lower stress.

1. How many weeks are you?
17 weeks tomorrow

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally?
Physically great, mentally I’m up and down. I made it through one of my milestones. I’m fully aware that I shouldn’t feel Baby every day, but now that I know I can feel her, not feeling her makes me anxious. I still don’t like telling people, it feels as though if I do tell people it will jinx things. My mom thinks we should tell our church, and they would be the ones to support us and pray for us the most but telling that many people close to us feels hard to do.

3. Any appt updates?
I had an anatomy scan Wednesday and dr said she is growing the way they want and looks good. My next appt is the 8th.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
I wish I had a better chair at work. I am almost tempted to bring my computer chair from home but don’t want to be judged. The one I had hurts my butt and lower back so bad.

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday?
christmas, I hope to have the energy to decorate for it more this year.

1. How many weeks are you?
17 weeks 3 days

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally?
Physically I feel fantastic! (Thank goodness, I felt soooo terrible during my first pregnancy with my girls). I eat a lot and always feel stuffed but I'm back to my regular schedule at the gym and just signed up for another 5k the week of Thanksgiving. Mentally I still have PGAL brain, and it doesn't help that it took forever to find the HB at my last appointment.

3. Any appt updates?
Good appt this past Tuesday. HB of 142bpm and my anatomy scan is scheduled for a week from this coming Tuesday. I can't wait!

4. Rants/raves/questions?
Rant: Whatever you do, NEVER buy furniture from IKEA online and choose the delivery option. Don't say I didn't warn you. I have lost my sh*t with them more times in the past week than I care to admit. And I don't do that.
Rave: I got through a 90 min class at the gym this afternoon and burnt 923 calories and then cleaned my house! (Well, at least the part that company sees...). Feeling productive.

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday?
Definitely Halloween, followed by Thanksgiving. I

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally?
Physically, I'm feeling great. This pregnancy has been really easy so far and I'm happy for that, but it also makes me worry that something is wrong. Mentally, I'm still dealing with PGAL brain and telling people makes me nervous!

3. Any appt updates?
Next, appt. on October 9th. My NIPT came back low risk so that was comforting, but I still worry.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
I finally told my coworkers last week and apparently everyone already suspected it and I had no idea it was so obvious!

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday?
Definitely, Thanksgiving! I love cooking and baking with my family!

1. How many weeks are you? 14w2d

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally? Physically, more tired that usual this week. Today I got a joyous 2 hour nap in. Mentally, not too bad. I'm coming to terms with this "beer belly". Finally got some more maternity dresses, they seem to help on the comfort level. Still a little too big in the bump area, but makes it feel like I'm wearing PJ's, so it's a win!

3. Any appt updates? Nothing til Friday, but I believe that's just a belly check. I'm already nervous thinking about the glucose test, even though I know it's a little ways away still.

4. Rants/raves/questions? Rave: We managed good deals on nursery furniture and it's stuff baby will have for years, so didn't feel guilty spending a little more knowing she'd have til she's 18. Rant: My SIL is already trying to give me 100s of toys her 3 kids have outgrown. Stuff they won't use til 1 - 2 yrs old, I felt unnecessary right now.

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving. It's lots of good food and family time. Plus, it's when you start seeing lots of pretty holiday lights and event start.

@kristimh80 Ugh, I feel you. We are the last of our siblings to have kids and everyone wants to dump all this stuff on us. It’s not like we don’t appreciate hand me downs but we don’t need 12 kids worth of worn out stuff!!!

1. How many weeks are you?
17 weeks

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally?
Physically I feel fine. This week has been one of the hardest mentally. We got to see the high risk doctor and that was such a good appointment! I love my OB so I was worried that this doctor and I won't click but we did. I felt so safe with his plan. He didn't just read from a chart about our loss but asked me to tell the story which I thought was the most important thing he could have ever done.

But here is where PAL brain kicked in. I unexpectedly got an US at this appointment and the tech asked if we wanted to know the gender and of course we said yes. I wasn't prepared for the emotions of finding out who this baby is. Our loss is a girl and this baby is a boy. I have to say, no matter what the gender, I knew I'd be a wreck. It's just a further reminder of our loss, that this baby isn't our little girl, even if we were having a girl, she'd never be Madison.

So we are having a boy!!! #boymom #alwaysoutnumbered

Also, my hubby LOVES the doctor. Well, he loves accents and this doctor has a "sweet" accent per my husband. And ladies, this doctor is huge! He could catch a baby with one hand and looks like he walked off the defensive line of a pro football team.

3. Any appt updates?
Next appointment Monday with my OB. I'll be curious "who" I start seeing. There was so much information given at the high risk appointment so I'm looking forward to seeing my OB and talking about it.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
Raves- at the high risk appointment, he basically said that our previous loss repeating itself would be so unlikely. Music to my ears! He of course threw out some fancy numbers that I can't remember but I remember it being a big number

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday?
4th of July. It's right near my birthday, involves lots of food and low stress on the family.

@bdesterhouse I'm right there with you, I want those daily baby movements. Once they've started, I don't want them to stop!

2. How are you feeling physically? Mentally? Physically I’m exhausted but that’s probably more because I have the flu and HFMD. Mentally I’m doing pretty good.

3. Any appt updates? Not until 3rf week of October

4. Rants/raves/questions? Only rant is that I’m sick of being sick.

5. GTKY what is your favorite holiday? I don’t think I could pick one so I’ll say HallowThankMas

I love dressing up for Halloween, love our Thanksgiving tradition of spending it at my aunts house surrounded by family and amazing food, and I just love the magic of Christmas time.

Just wanted to say thank you for allthe support, thoughts and prayers.

2. Physically: still sick. Mentally: PGAL brain is pretty bad right now. Saw family this weekend and told them about the trip to the er and how the Dr is calling this a guarded pregnancy. Just have to wait and see. My mom is just hoping we can get to viability stage of pregnancy, so if need be this miracle baby will survive. I keep trying to tell myself she's being supportive, but it's such a cloudy outlook.

3. Waiting until the 10th to hear the hb and talk to the Dr.

4. Kind of went into in #2.

5. Christmas. Lights, music, magic of it all.

Appt today, both heartbeats on Doppler right off the bat. Doc confirmed that I am definitely feeling movements!
