1. Introduce yourself (if new): ttc since 1/17. CP 3/17. NMC 9/17. 2. Status? TWW. Trying not to keep track of DPO this month. 3. R/R: little rant:Had a friend announce her pregnancy yesterday. She was very tactful, as she knows my history. I really appreciated that. Still stings a little. Huge rant: we had a deal on our house and it fell through last minute. Ughhhhhh. Rave: All of my favorite sport teams won yesterday! 4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself I am one of 7 kids. We range in age from 35-7. (Most of us older than 22). 4/7 are adopted, including the 7 year old . My parents are saints.
Introduce yourself (if new): so not new been here since 8/2016
2. Status? WTO but will not be trying this month since my surgery is in 3 weeks. Will just hang out until we decide if we will continue trying afterwards
3. R/R: DS (3) got glasses on Friday and he is doing great with them!
4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself hmmm I’m kind of boring. I’m a law enforcement officer for the federal government. I don’t think it’s interesting but others usually do
1. Introduce yourself (if new): not new. MMC in March, CP last month
2. Status? TWW but feel more like WFAF
3. R/R: Unpacked the rest if my fall/winter wardrobe yesterday. Remembering how I bought each dress/top a bit lose and flowy with the hopes of filling them with an early bump. And here I am, a year later, same boat but with less hope. Sadly there will not be any room for a bump in most as I cant seem to lose the depression weight I gained.
4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself I've never been good with math/numbers ever (started failing math in 4th grade). Yet I run an accounting office. And by run I mean rock. But seriously, how does that happen?!
@kath525 glad your friend was gentile for you. And, your parents MUST be saints to raise 7 kids! But seriously, that's amazing of them
@Mack2342 I aodre littles with glasses! They are so friggen cute! Glad hes doing well with them!
@prpl11butterfly I’m with you on not being able to lose. I was losing weight after having DS but when I had first MC I got depressed and gained a few then it became harder with each lose. I’m hoping the new hip and being pain free will help me get out of funk. This process sucks!
1. Introduce yourself (if new): Not new. Three losses in the last 14 months. 2. Status? Doing second round of IVF. It's not looking good though. Will trigger tomorrow if they don't cancel the cycle. 3. R/R: Just feeling super blah and hating my ovaries right now. 4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself: Hmm, not sure. I lived in rural B.C. for a few years, so I went to school on a First Nations reserve and was the only causcasian kid there. My first "second" language was a Frist Nations language, which of course I lost.
@Mack2342 I'm so excited for your new hip! Hopefully you're able to get active again afterwards. @Prpl11butterfly, I'm in the same boat...a few pounds with each loss and can't work out these days because of sore joints and IVF. It's depressing.
@Kath525 I’m 1 of 5 kids and I thought my parents were amazing. I couldn’t imagine 7! Good for them!
ntroduce yourself (if new): MMC 11/13, MC 1/17, MMC 6/17, MMC 11/17, MC 9/18
2. Status? Benched
3. R/R: Temping is such a PITA. Started this cycle, but it’s hard for me to remember and I don’t really understand it yet.
Tw* I finally found a necklace I love as a remembrance for my losses. I can’t wait until it gets here. End tw*
4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself. I’m kind of boring lol. My favorite thing to do is read. I’m really into psychological thrillers lately
@Kath525 that’s too bad about the deal falling through on your house. How frustrating! Do you have a new house picked out?
@Mack2342 little kiddos with glasses are so cute! I’m glad he’s adjusting well. Sometimes it can be annoying to have glasses on your face all the time.
@prpl11butterfly I hear you. I have definitely gained depression weight after my loss. That ads to all the weight I’ve gained over the last two years also. I’m trying to work on it but not that hard, lol.
1. Introduce yourself (if new): 3 losses in 12 months, plus another a few years ago. 2. Status? WTO/benched. Decided to sit this cycle out. Waiting for test results and need a break. Will decide if we want to try again after genetic testing comes back. 3. R/R: Rave: Spent a few days on the coast and it was wonderful. No stress and really helped me see how much I've been missing by being so focused on TTC. 4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself. I love to cook/bake and I really love doing large, holiday dinners for my friends and family. I'm already planning Christmas Eve and I'm trying to convince my MIL to do Thanksgiving at my house since she just had surgery.
@Kath525 and @kbrown2385 As one of two children, I'm so jealous of your large families! Having brothers and sisters always seemed like it would be so fun.
1. Not new. 3 Mc in 2017, took some time off to reconnect and back at it. 2. TWW 3. R/R I can't even begin to explain the weekend I just had. DH took a spill on his bike, nothing big but he thought he broke his arm as he had intense pain down it. Walked out of the woods andawent to the hospital.X-rays then CT scan then MRI and they found he actually broke his neck in 2 places. He had surgery last night to pin 2 vertebrae together and now he's resting and I'm utterly exhausted. He still has the use of all extremities and is incredibly lucky. An emotional weekend but I'm so grateful he should have a full recovery. 4. Well on the topic of broken bones and surgeries, I broke my zygomatic arch (cheek bone/eye socket) 7 years ago and have plates in screws in my face . After the weekend I've had, I feel like this was such a minimal break now but it's interesting to turn the table around and be the one sitting in the waiting room waiting for updates
@prpl11butterfly I get it, I also packed away all my loser fitting / maternity winter clothes that I thought I would be wearing now
1. Introduce yourself (if new): MMC 9/18 2. Status? benched 3. R/R: Rave: Now I hate FB pregnancy announcements, only now do I realize how hurtful they are. Last week while going through my MC I saw 3 friends post their announcements for the same/ close to the same birth month. 4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself hmmmm I'm horrible with this too. I've traveled a lot, I used to work for an airline as a marketing executive, once I had to fly to Tokyo for a 2 day meeting and back. Looking back, I don't know how I survived all of that, but it was fun while it lasted
@prpl11butterfly I get it too. I have a Bella band I bought in a moment of excitement and never got to wear.
1. 2nd tri MMC 6/5 D&C 6/6. 2. TTC again , but as my November due date approaches I am more depressed than I could ever have imagined. Today is a really hard day. 3. Ranting on old wives tales. You’ll conceive when you’re relaxed - false, took a 2 week Trip to europe during O time, did not conceive. You’re too stressed to conceive - ok ? I can’t change this? You’ll get pregnant right away after miscarriage - don’t get me started on this one! 4. I love to bake and cook! Currently experimenting w cutting back on gluten to work on my inflammatory response and it’s *almost* fun to come up with new recipes (still love you though bread!)
@ruby696 growing up I actually hated being part of a big family. That’s usually the opposite of every other person who is in a big family, but I always felt over shadowed. I only want 2 kids because of that.
@40momma it’s taken a long time for me to be ok with everything and the possibility of people asking about it.
@bakerstreetboys how’s the second round going? Did they have you trigger? 1. Not new, 2 MMC and a couple CP in the last year. 2. In the middle of our first round of IVF 3. A lot going on, just trying to stay positive. 4. I used to really enjoy cooking and baking but I just can’t find the time right now.
@char245 are you stimming yet? Thanks hope it’s going well! We had the ER this morning. They got five but not sure how many were mature. It was more than we were expecting, sobfingers are crossed for the fertilization report tomorrow. I’m still kind of drugged up. I hope everyone is having a good week.
@antera23 we're going to build actually @40momma what a scary experience, I'm so glad it wasn't worse. I witnessed somebody take a bad fall down some stairs and break their neck, she was also okay, but it was terrifying @obsessedwithoranges due dates are hard. Maybe keep busy to try to keep your mind off it. I had my due dates completely booked, it helped. @char245 FX for IVF to do the trick!!!
@kbrown2385 I’m glad you got a necklace. I hope it comes soon. I found a necklace I really want to order, but I haven’t quite been able to handle ordering it yet.
1. Introduce yourself (if new): Not new. MMC 7/18.
2. Status? TWW
3. R/R: DH and I are going to a concert on Tuesday, so I’m really excited about that. It’s going to be a good distraction for me.
4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself. I grew up with my dad in the military and my family just not being able to stay in one place even once he was out, so I’ve lived in about 23 different houses over my life.
1. Introduce yourself (if new): MC FEB 2018, CP AUG 2018 2. Status? TWW 3. R/R: long weekend in NYC 4.GTKY: I'm never good at these so tell me something random/interesting about yourself I'm trying to get my great grandmother's 1925 singer sewing machine working! @Kath525, I'm one of 7 also

@bakerstreetboys how cool that you learned a second language!!
@kbrown2385 I would love to see the necklace if you feel like sharing. It will be so nice to have a physical reminder of the babies you lost.

My mom and my sister speak Spanish but I don’t. I’m terrible at languages. I get to the second level in school and struggle so hard.

@Kath525 wow, your parents sound amazing.
@Mack2342 I think the fact that you carry a gun for work is pretty crazy, and badass
@bakerstreetboys I'm sure it would be easy to relearn the language, it would likely come quite naturally to you
@kbrown2385 I got a necklace to honour my first loss, I keep it in a jewelery box as I'm too scared to bring it out
