I just moved on over to this community after my ultrasound on Tuesday failed to find a heartbeat. I was approaching my 9th week & everything seemed great. I am a jumble of emotions; I was blessed to get pregnant soon after getting off the bcp. The US showed a fetal pole & embryo; they are guessing the mmc happened in the last week or so. My body is not recognizing it & I have a d & c scheduled for Friday. I look forward to getting to know you all, supporting each other, & hopefully trying again soon.

I’m very sorry for your loss. Please remember you’re not alone in this. It’s heartbreaking to have your first pregnancy end up like this, but hopefully you’ll be able to find some mind peace in these forums.

I am home & resting. Everything went smoothly. It was a little rough because the procedure took place on the labor & delivery floor. We had to walk through that hall to my room. However, we were treated well like it was a genuine loss & not clinical. My doctor was amazing & super positive, encouraging, & supportive about getting pregnant again.
