Well I guess labor and delivery got slammed with a bunch of active labors right as I was scheduled to be moved down there...so still have not been moved to start inducing nearly 8 hours later. Stressing out because we only could find someone to watch DS for one night, so DH has to leave to pick him up from daycare in about 12 hours whether baby has arrived or not. Not ready to give birth by myself.
Oh girl... *hugs* I'm sorry things arent going as scheduled! Thinking of you and LO.

August 13, 2020 - Son born at 37 weeks an 6 days due to failed BPP (Gestational Diabetes).
After 2 rounds of cytotec (8hrs) and 20ish hours of pitocin, Maveric Wilder is here. Born on Sept 26th, 4lbs 9oz, 17 and 1/4in. Shares a birthday with his Aunt Brooke. Was not the labor I was expecting, got my epidural around 6am after I finally started to feel all of the contractions I was having. It wore off by 9am and they kept redosing it which didn't seem to do anything for more than a few minutes. Ended up feeling everything for the final 3 hours or so including the birth which was not my plan at all. Went from 7cm to ready to push very quickly, my nurse was scrambling to find a doctor to catch him. Baby is doing well in the NICU.
Awwwww CONGRATS!!!! I'm so sorry labor didn't go as planned and that the epidural was so ineffective but hooray for the safe arrival of the little guy . Praying you have a speedy recovery and that baby Maveric gets to come home quickly. *hugs* you did so good momma!!! (Btw adorable name and he looks like just the absolute perfect little peanut)

Thanks everyone! Recovery has been a breeze so far, I guess one benefit of an early baby is how much easier it is on the body to push out a 4lbs baby than an 8lbs baby. Will be thinking of you all as I consume all of the coffee, sushi, and margaritas I want over the next few days. lol
