I am about 7 weeks pregnant with my first and have given up my beloved CBD oil that I've been taking for anxiety (and other ailments) for almost 2 years because Google told me too 🙄 I forgot to ask my doc if she recommends me staying off of it but I have a feeling anyway she's going to tell me to not take it. Are there any others out there who have gotten advice from their docs about CBD? I'm hoping that someone has been told it's safe! 😊

Agreed with PP. If you don't trust your doctor's advice, then it's time to find a new one.
I trust my doctor. I'm just curious if anyone else has been told it's okay and/or have gone through a pregnancy taking it. There is zero research on CBD so docs are most likely going to say dont take it.
@melanie2244 you do realize this post is a year and a half old, right? Just because you had a "perfectly healthy baby" doesn't mean it's safe - I will stop my rant right there.
I've been using my medical cannibus and I've spoke other women who used just regular street cannabis, even back in the 80s & they say all their children turned out 💯healthy and fine. In fact my friend Maria says her son is smarter because of it, I'm sure they will tell you, "NO," it's a drug and will harm the fetus, but in moderation small doses, I don't think CBD is harmful.
There were women in jail taking methadone for heroine withdrawl while they were pregnant and thier kids came out 💯 healthy, I was surprised too, but science and modern medicine is always advancing.
Interesting that women who are not medical professionals have the skillset needed to know that their babies are 100% normal. Considering they're in jail, maybe their judgement isn't the best. Just saying. 🙄

Pure ignorance - your friend Maria said her son is "smarter because of it" - WOW, JUST WOW! 😳 I'll stop right there........
I used CBD oil during the first trimester due to severe morning sickness. My baby arrived perfectly healthy. ion it is better to use CBD and have a possibility to eat and “feed my baby” in my belly than to throw up and not eat anything.

@melanie2244 That would be a great question for women to ask their doctors. Who will likely be able to give advice on some options that have been proven safe instead of substances that are not proven to be safe.
@shortysugar How does Maria know what her kid’s IQ would have been without it? How about the rest of this kid’s health? What’s your medical background to make the judgement that CBD isn’t harmful?

I've been taking a few drops before I go to sleep. I must say that since i started, I am having more dreams. Plus I get a whole nights sleep. Before trying CBD, my doc gave me a prescription for Klonopin. While it helped me fall asleep, I spent the entire next day feeling like a slightly nauseous zombie. CBD oil helps a bit less with insomnia, but there is no side effects at all
No side effects? How the heck can you say that - your baby could quite possibly have side effects. Insane that you think there are n side effects when there can be no ethical study to show side effects of it! SMDH
