Vicks Vaporub is it safe?

Hey girls,

I'm 7weeks pregnant and just got a wicked head cold... I cant use any of my reguliar treatments right now... being sick sucks... do you guys know if vicks vaporub is safe to use? Google says it is, but I just want to make sure...

If you want to make sure, call your doctor. All we are going to do is google it too.

I asked the dr today. He said yes topically it's fine, but vicks lozenges are not ok
