What is a small victory that you accomplished lately? Nothing is too small!

I had my first good shower in a long time yesterday. It was the first time in months that I didn't knock my hips out of alignment while shaving and was able to walk after!

I also baked an apple cinnamon bundt cake and it came out pretty damn good if I do say so myself!

I went above and beyond making a snack of hot cocoa and popcorn for the kids yesterday then proceeded to make a fancy Sunday dinner right after. I was exhausted afterwards, but I felt victorious for a minute!

I stayed awake until 9:00 last night and about 10:30 on Saturday. Granted I am exhausted today but good lord I haven't been up that late in a while (not counting falling asleep and then getting insomnia an hr or two later).

Eta: also I pooped without spotting!!!!!

the entire huge stack of important paperwork and random extra bills (hospital registration, city fees, taxes, doctor bills, car registration) has been all filled out, paid, and/or mailed off. check check check

@highsteaks thank you for reminding me that I need to do my car registration today.

This is a huge victory for me actually, but baby flipped after an intense two weeks of acupuncture and chiropractor and every trick on spinning babies. I celebrated with a chick-fil-a chicken biscuit for breakfast.

@wannaflickone Yea baby!! So glad that the babe now it's pointing in the right direction!

Afm...We went Apple picking this weekend and I managed to delegate all 20lbs of apples to a purpose. I just have to do the freezer stash ones.... but the homemade applesauce and apple chips are done and stored!

@highsteaks Getting miscellaneous paperwork taken care of gives me so much inner peace. Nice job!

My sex drive has been amazing lately, so hubby and I have been having a great time in the bedroom. No easy feat when I look like an small hippopotamus and can barely move these days.

It’s not my victory but my husband is going to make it home for the birth!

also I’ve been able to let him see my stomach moving from LO on FaceTime so that was kind of a victory!

AFM: I’ve been slowly deep cleaning our house one room a day, which I haven’t done in the little over a year we’ve been at this house. I’m halfway done and have one of the two dirtiest rooms done. This is the first house I’ve lived in aside from my parents and the realizations I’ve made about how dirty random things (walls, baseboards, tile grout...) get even with basic/regular housecleaning have been life changing.

We moved a week ago, and I just got all the empty cardboard boxes out of the apartment!! I get worn out really quickly, so it's easy to let them pile up and passive aggressively will my husband to take them out (without actually asking). But I hauled them out to the front porch, and he took them to the dumpster!

Next task: Actually organizing the nursery.

I got an oil change, organized the playroom, made a salad and did a 20 min walk while DD was at preschool. Feeling motivated!

We got the baby's dresser in the house after almost a week of it being in the car!! All the clothes are in it and off the floor! The nursery is almost done! God it feels good. The only thing left is the crib, finding a rug and some wall art!

The baby's room is painted and we officially have a name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both of these things have been stressing me beyond belief.

Ive been working on my freezer meals all month, just a few to go. My basement freezer is almost full with pastas, soups, crockpot meals, my kitchen freezer is full
of dozens of egg muffins and oatmeal muffins for breakfasts.

@emjohn517 Girl, you are killin' it! I have a feeling we're going to be scrounging for food again, unless I make a ton of freezer meals after the move, just a couple weeks before the due date. Ugh. After DS, we survived mostly on spinach salads with tuna and mangoes. I still kick myself for not preparing more meals for his arrival.

This is normal Tuesday cleaning for me, but still - I vacuumed the whole house and mopped the hard floors (which takes two freaking hours). Also I decided on different crib bedding that I like better in the nursery. Now to get stuff up on the walls. DH is getting close to being done with DS's dresser so we can get his stuff out of the baby dresser and baby stuff put away.

I have the nursery done with the exception of two things that are on back order! Also making progress at work on things I have to get done before maternity leave.

I figured out a way to successfully shave my legs in the shower this morning AND yesterday the nurse told me that my butt cyst is almost healed!
