    1) How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 20 weeks - banana!

    2) How are you feeling? Good, just annoying headaches and a lingering cold. Lots of kicks and movement when big brother is around, which is extra sweet.

    3) Any appointments this week? Nope, I go back in 3 weeks (I think)

    4) Rants, raves or questions? 2 related rants: I got blood drawn last Thursday for a spina bifida test and my arm is so disgustingly bruised you wouldn't believe it. It literally looks like I got attacked. So of course it's been 90 degrees here all week and I want to keep it covered up so I've been wearing long-sleeves or jackets all week and sweating my ass off. Adjacent rant: They said they'd call with results by Tuesday and still haven't. I didn't notice until today because we were recovering (still are) from MIL/BIL's horrible visit. But I guess I should call today and see if they have results?

    5) GTKY: What is the meaning behind your username? I love bourbon and I love biscuits. In fact, I think I'm going to make biscuits and gravy for breakfast tomorrow morning.

    @BourbonBiscuits I got the worst bruising from that blood draw too! It was my OB’s nurse who did it. It was black and blue line down my arm and room forever to fade. Also I’d definitely give them a call if you were supposed to hear back by Tuesday.

    2) How are you feeling? So tired. DD was up 3 times last night. Excited for the weekend though. 

    3) Any appointments this week? OB check up on Monday. I’ll be bringing DD so should be interesting. 

    4) Rants, raves or questions? I’m so tired of the heat! 

    5) GTKY: What is the meaning behind your username? It’s a lyric from my favorite Sufjan Stevens song and also a nod to ‘all systems go’ as we prepare to go from one to two kids!

    Im not sure if it allergies or a cold coming on but I’m really congested.  Other than that, pretty good.

    3) Any appointments this week?

    Had AS yesterday, next appt is in 4 weeks.  Baby boy looks good.

    He looked exactly like Casper The Friendly Ghost  on our first sonogram so it stuck as this LO’s nickname.

    Lurking here... my doctor said they would only call with those results if the was an issue. I called anyway (actually sent a message through mychart) and they responded with the results next day. Maybe that's their policy too?

    @BourbonBiscuits my doctor was like almost a week late on giving us our quad screen results- so annoying

    pretty good for the most part, tired and out of breath so easily already 

    3) Any appointments this week?
    had 20 week check up on Monday- all good minus the excessive weight gain . 

    4) Rants, raves or questions?
    it is finally cooling off this weekend and I am so happy. Ready to bring on the maternity leggings !

    i work as a pediatric nurse- Mom to DD- numbers are our wedding date !

    1) How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 20, banana

    2) How are you feeling? Bloated and tired. I really wanted to feel better by now, but my days are kind of hit or miss.

    3) Any appointments this week? My AS was yesterday and my Dr. appointment was an hour later. They were so fast getting the results to my Doctor that she was surprised. Everything looks normal, and we are having a boy.

    4) Rants, raves or questions?

    5) GTKY: What is the meaning behind your username? My husband calls me wife (even introduced me as wife most of the time), my kids call me mom, and I call me me.

    1) How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 18 weeks, artichoke. 

    2) How are you feeling? A lot better! I’m finally getting a reprieve in nausea. I’m still exhausted, but I attribute that to school starting. Thanks to the hurricane, this was the first full week for DD. 

    3) Any appointments this week? Not this week. My next appt is 10/8. 

    4) Rants, raves or questions? I’m starting to feel flutters! They’re a lot softer than the last two pregnancies, though. I’m starting to wonder where the placenta is located. 

    5) GTKY: What is the meaning behind your username? Purple is my favorite color. When I created this user, DS#1 was the size of a poppyseed. 4/24 is my anniversary.

    18 weeks, artichoke

    2) How are you feeling?
    Better than I have been, mentally! Our level 2 ultrasound yesterday showed that baby is growing normally and everything looks good, which is such a weight off. Also, we're having a boy! Now we just have to wait for the amnio results which we should get Monday or Tuesday, fingers crossed everything comes back negative.

    Fall weather is finally here, hooray!

    I love egg sandwiches! It's pretty simple. I eat one every morning (even before I was pregnant...)
