Hi all,
I have been lurking for a while waiting for my membership to clear. My EDD based on my FET is May 25th. Betas on Monday and Wednesday were 415 and 933 respectively, with another beta check tomorrow.
My wife and I had 6 failed IUIs and two surgeries for endometriomas before we finally had success with IVF, so it has been a long road. I’m currently 4 weeks 5 days, and I will go in for my first ultrasound on Tuesday next week.
We are cautiously optimistic at this point, but I think months of failed treatment can make one weary of getting too excited! We aren’t planning on sharing our news beyond close family until we enter the second trimester and the risk of miscarriage goes way down. We may change our minds as we get more confident with how the pregnancy is progressing! Because we did IVF, we will get fairly frequent ultrasounds that will (hopefully) alleviate some of the anxiety.
