Re: TWW Wednesday 9/19

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1
    CD/DPO: 24/8
    Timing: Good
    Typical LP length: ?
Testing: BFN this morning (not surprised), Testing daily (I know it's still a little early!!)
R/R: rant- feeling a little crampy and lower back pain is driving me crazy. Lower back pain isn't anything new for me but hormones during the month always seem to make it more achy! I have to make more time to strengthen and stretch it out!!

  • Month/Cycle: 11/12

    CD/DPO: 16/1

Timing: -5,-4,-2, IUI on -1, IUI on O

    Typical LP length: 14

    Testing:  Nope.

R/R: Rant: Dealing with a lot of anger about this cycle.  I reached out to another RE office in case we decide to go elsewhere.  Rave:  Booked flights last night to visit my parents in November... after meticulously looking at every possible scenario for future IUIs and making sure the dates would work.  le sigh.

    CS/Q: Nah.
  • Month/Cycle: 3/3
    CD/DPO: 20/7
    Timing: -1,-2
    Typical LP length: 12ish
Testing: Saturday (10 DPO) but I have an urge to start testing now, will try to hold strong.
R/R: Really need to step away from Dr. Google.  I was looking up cramping right after ovulation and found this
"Day One – Roughly 6% of the adult female population experiences cramping or pain on the first day following ovulation. About 2/3 of these women are pregnant; roughly 1/3 are not. Bloating, flatulence and feelings of fatigue account for about the same percentages during the first week after ovulation."
I then also found that it also can be a sign of endo, great. Most likely it is nothing though, just need to repeat that.

  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 27/10ish

    Timing: Good

    Typical LP length: 14(ish) days

    Testing: Monday if no AF.

R/R: It’s official. I have a cold. Who gets colds in the summer(ish)?!?! Now I’m just trying to not get the rest of the house inhabitants sick. At least we have a potluck at work today - I brought mini Apple Cider cupcakes!! Mmm.

    CS/Q: Nada

@ThompsonHM2 Welcome! I hope your stay is nice and short here!!

@Sparty18 I’m sorry that you’re angry about this cycle. I think you’re smart to get in contact with another RE. It’s always better to be prepared and proactive. I hope this cycle works out for you so you don’t have to deal with the stress of switching practices.

@jhems776 Stop with Dr. Google!! Lol. I’m super guilty of doing the same. Sometimes more information is not necessarily good for us.
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1
    CD/DPO: 28/12
    Timing: "Good" according to FF
    Typical LP length: 12
    Testing: still. not. yet.
R/R: Rave: we got paid today so I feel like a baller. Rant: we got paid today so by tonight I'll feel just as broke as yesterday. Rave: Mr. Magoo has a potential adopter <3

CS/Q: I woke up around 5:20AM (~40 min earlier than usual) my temp dropped slightly from yesterday. I'd like to *excuse* the drop by blaming the fact the dog was on the comforter so I was left with a sheet and the air was set on 73.

The "dip" on 8 DPO has my FX crossed and still not exhibiting my typical pre-period spotting/cramping pattern which always comes 2 days before AF.

@lillywonderland - Apple cider muffins sound delicious! Any chance you can drop a link for the recipe?

@marebear15 uhh. You found me out! No recipe - it was a box mix! They are delicious though.

    Month/Cycle:12

    CD/DPO: 25/10

    Timing: IUI

Typical LP length: 11 or so. Much better when I'm on meds due to LP defect

Testing: 10dpiui today and the wait is torture. FF says I should test Friday

R/R: Rant: Just ready to get through this wait. Rave: My DH and I are going to the drive-in on Friday. Super excited about it.

CS/Q: Not much to see here

  • @julwonderlust Yay for great self control! Or Boo for great self control! Either way, it’s only a matter of time before you know.

@b_1029 I’m assuming it’s only out in the Fall. They also had Caramel Apple, Candy Apple and a Pumpkin Spice one. I *might* have to go and pick up a couple more boxes because it is seriously delicious.

@crookshanks10 I love drive-ins! They are so much fun! I haven’t done it since HS (and I almost hit a deer on the drive home), but that sounds like a great date night with YH. What movie are you seeing? Do they do a double feature?
  • @lillywonderland We are going to see Peppermint! They do have a double feature with The Nun that night. I know we'll at least stay for the first movie (: Do you have any fun weekend plans? Hopefully you start to feel better soon!
  • @lillywonderland fall treats are the best...honestly the only thing getting me through whole 30 is knowing that like 10 days after I'm done, we're doing our annual trip to the apple orchard and I will get to eat fresh pumpkin / apple cider donuts!
  • Month/Cycle: 2 AL, ttc since 2/17

    CD/DPO:  18/2
    Timing:  great
    Typical LP length: 15 days
Testing: I can pretend I will try and wait until AF is late, but I don’t have self control to make it to 9 dpos
R/R: So, still confused about the opks, but if I put the same temp in tomorrow as today, I get CHs, also, I had a migraine Monday, which I usually get when I ovulate.  Otherwise, I am enjoying my day off and had fair food.
    CS/Q: none

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2
    CD/DPO: 23/10-11
    Timing: Good
Typical LP length: 12-14 I think
Testing: BFN yesterday, now just waiting for AF to be sure.
R/R: Been getting lots of house cleaning done this week. Just extra stuff that doesn't normally get done, so yay me!
    CS/Q:None

    @lillywonderland those look delicious!!!

@b_1029 Good to have you with us! Its nice to know no one is alone in this journey. I'm pretty new to the whole TTC and have found some very useful info on the boards. Plus the support is wonderful.
  • @Sparty18  sorry your feeling down about this cycle. I hope you can find an RE will give you the support you want.
@jhems776  part of me wishes I was TTC in the days before google. I like that “fact” you posted, and so does my SS :)
@lillywonderland I had a cold a few weeks ago and it was awful, hope you feel better quickly
    @julwonderlust chart still looks good!!!
@crookshanks10 I love drive ins, I wish we had one closer to where I live.

    Month/Cycle: 14/8
    CD/DPO: 21/6 or 7
    Timing: decent
    Typical LP length: 11-13
Testing: I must confess I did this AM, but only as a “calm the F down” message to myself. And honestly it’s helped with SS so far today. But then I went down a rabbit hole of googling how insensitive Wondfos are LOL. I’ll prob test again Friday bc DH and I are going on a date and I would like a guilt free glass of wine with dinner.
R/R: I get to leave work early today! It’s for a dentist appointment but I’m still excited. No rants today
    CS/Q: nothing new from yesterday
  • @sparty18 I am sorry your are feeling so angry this cycle, hopefully things will work out better with a different doctor.

@lilywonderland, those cupcakes sound yummy, and reminds me that we haven’t had a potluck at work for a long time, it may motivate me to plan one.  I hope you feel better soon, I feel like I always get sickest in the summer!

    @nmbrcrnchr1
i am glad testing helped you calm down, and I used o love wondfos but hate them now.  I am trying to keep my resolve to not order any tests and just stick with dollar store ones, which TW, I know are super sensitive, when we were waiting for my hcg to drop, it had been 13 with blood work.5 days later,  I tested and it was still positive, i has blood work the next day at it was 4.

Realized I didn't do this earlier when I commented.

    Month/Cycle: 10/11
    CD/DPO: 18/7 or 8
    Timing: hopefully good
    Typical LP length: 14-16
Testing: honestly probably will test on a cheapie in the next few days just to take the edge off. haha.
R/R: I hate how bad I am at SS, I had the slightest symptom this morning so I am OBVIOUSLY PREGNANT THERE CAN BE NO OTHER REASON. *facepalm* Rave: The temp is finally supposed to drop here this weekend and I can't wait. So tired of it being in the high 80's and 90's!
    CS/Q: none
  • Sorry for the late post, all! It's been a h-ll of a day.

@b_1029 I love that you call POAS "taking the edge off". That made me LOL after a very long day, so thank you. And I totally get what you mean.

@nmbrcrnchr1 enjoy your date! Anything special about where you are going for your night out?

    Month/cycle: 5/5

CD/DPO: 20/God only knows, 'cuz the OPKs didn't

Typical LP: not sure, since I just started OPK to try to figure it out, but typical cycle is 29 days.

Timing: *shrug and question mark face*

Testing: WTAF because I'm pretty sure our timing wasn't good, but I guess since we don't know when I ovulated, maybe we were in the window?

R/R: @Sparty18 I feel you on the anger this cycle, although you have a lot more motive than I do. I don't know why I am getting so mad this time around, but I think it has to do with the frustrating OPK never going "solid smiley" on the month I am trying to do everything right. Either that, or the newness and excitement about TTC has worn off and now it just feels like weve made this big decision yet we are in limbo until something actually happens. I'm jumping into the drink til pink mindset and having alllllll of the coffee this week. And maybe wine with dinner tomorrow.

Speaking of...for the ladies that do DTP, how early do you test, just in case? Or do you not drink during TWW?
  • @spacepiraterunner I do DTP, but I’ve cut back a lot this cycle due to personal/health reasons, but I don’t normally test earlier than 8/9 dpo bc the chances of actually getting a + are so slim it’s like why waste the test. I’m 7 or 8 dpo today so I will test tomorrow (for our dinner) and Saturday (bc we are going to a beer fest). Even though I’m expecting stark white tests at that point :) but at least then I can have a drink or two and feel less guilty about it.

Also, nothing special, just going on a long overdue date with just the 2 of us :)
  • @spacepiraterunner after several cycles I was where you are (the fun of it was gone etc) so I decided it had to be because of my coffee / wine consumption. So I gave them totally up for a couple cycles and it was honestly miserable. Now I say live your life and just don’t go crazy with it.
