Re: TWW Wednesday 9/19
"Day One – Roughly 6% of the adult female population experiences cramping or pain on the first day following ovulation. About 2/3 of these women are pregnant; roughly 1/3 are not. Bloating, flatulence and feelings of fatigue account for about the same percentages during the first week after ovulation."
I then also found that it also can be a sign of endo, great. Most likely it is nothing though, just need to repeat that.
CD/DPO: 27/10ish
Timing: Good
Typical LP length: 14(ish) days
Testing: Monday if no AF.
R/R: It’s official. I have a cold. Who gets colds in the summer(ish)?!?! Now I’m just trying to not get the rest of the house inhabitants sick. At least we have a potluck at work today - I brought mini Apple Cider cupcakes!! Mmm.
CS/Q: Nada
@ThompsonHM2 Welcome! I hope your stay is nice and short here!!
@Sparty18 I’m sorry that you’re angry about this cycle. I think you’re smart to get in contact with another RE. It’s always better to be prepared and proactive. I hope this cycle works out for you so you don’t have to deal with the stress of switching practices.
@jhems776 Stop with Dr. Google!! Lol. I’m super guilty of doing the same. Sometimes more information is not necessarily good for us.
CS/Q: I woke up around 5:20AM (~40 min earlier than usual) my temp dropped slightly from yesterday. I'd like to *excuse* the drop by blaming the fact the dog was on the comforter so I was left with a sheet and the air was set on 73.
@lillywonderland - Apple cider muffins sound delicious! Any chance you can drop a link for the recipe?
CD/DPO: 25/10
Typical LP length: 11 or so. Much better when I'm on meds due to LP defect
@lillywonderland that looks/sounds freaking amazing. Is that only out in the fall? Need to go find some ASAP...also, summer colds are the freaking worst. I always feel so stupid when I get them, like you said, who does that? haha
@Sparty18 I'm sorry to hear you're frustrated. It's so easy to do. Good for you for being proactive and at least you have something to look forward to in a couple of months!
Also, I just wanted to say that I am glad I found TB. I know I'm new here, but it makes me feel better knowing there is a community out there where people understand what DH + I are going through. All of our friends that have kids either had their first one 3 years ago or got pregnant super quickly so it feels like there's no one to relate to. This might be a dumb message..but thank you ladies!
@b_1029 I’m assuming it’s only out in the Fall. They also had Caramel Apple, Candy Apple and a Pumpkin Spice one. I *might* have to go and pick up a couple more boxes because it is seriously delicious.
@crookshanks10 I love drive-ins! They are so much fun! I haven’t done it since HS (and I almost hit a deer on the drive home), but that sounds like a great date night with YH. What movie are you seeing? Do they do a double feature?
@lillywonderland those look delicious!!!
@b_1029 Good to have you with us! Its nice to know no one is alone in this journey. I'm pretty new to the whole TTC and have found some very useful info on the boards. Plus the support is wonderful.
@jhems776 part of me wishes I was TTC in the days before google. I like that “fact” you posted, and so does my SS
@lillywonderland I had a cold a few weeks ago and it was awful, hope you feel better quickly
@julwonderlust chart still looks good!!!
@crookshanks10 I love drive ins, I wish we had one closer to where I live.
Month/Cycle: 14/8
@lilywonderland, those cupcakes sound yummy, and reminds me that we haven’t had a potluck at work for a long time, it may motivate me to plan one. I hope you feel better soon, I feel like I always get sickest in the summer!
@nmbrcrnchr1
i am glad testing helped you calm down, and I used o love wondfos but hate them now. I am trying to keep my resolve to not order any tests and just stick with dollar store ones, which TW, I know are super sensitive, when we were waiting for my hcg to drop, it had been 13 with blood work.5 days later, I tested and it was still positive, i has blood work the next day at it was 4.
Month/Cycle: 10/11
@b_1029 I love that you call POAS "taking the edge off". That made me LOL after a very long day, so thank you. And I totally get what you mean.
@nmbrcrnchr1 enjoy your date! Anything special about where you are going for your night out?
Month/cycle: 5/5
CD/DPO: 20/God only knows, 'cuz the OPKs didn't
Typical LP: not sure, since I just started OPK to try to figure it out, but typical cycle is 29 days.
Timing: *shrug and question mark face*
Testing: WTAF because I'm pretty sure our timing wasn't good, but I guess since we don't know when I ovulated, maybe we were in the window?
R/R: @Sparty18 I feel you on the anger this cycle, although you have a lot more motive than I do. I don't know why I am getting so mad this time around, but I think it has to do with the frustrating OPK never going "solid smiley" on the month I am trying to do everything right. Either that, or the newness and excitement about TTC has worn off and now it just feels like weve made this big decision yet we are in limbo until something actually happens. I'm jumping into the drink til pink mindset and having alllllll of the coffee this week. And maybe wine with dinner tomorrow.
Speaking of...for the ladies that do DTP, how early do you test, just in case? Or do you not drink during TWW?
Also, nothing special, just going on a long overdue date with just the 2 of us
