Any appointments? Questions?: FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY! I can't wait! I'm really hoping it all goes well cause it's about killing me seeing everyone's ultrasound pics and updates when I haven't even heard a heartbeat yet.
Question: does anyone else read the bump's week descriptions for symptoms and think "wow! How'd you know?" This week was spot on with gas LMAO

Rants/Raves?: I think I'm a raving pregnant bitch this morning cause I feel like all I have are rants...hopefully it's ok if I let some of them out here?
1. My MIL rubbed my stomach Saturday night. She never did with DD...wtf. Also, pretty sure that was just the funnel cake I ate you were rubbing.
2. My brother is supposed to be getting married in less than a month and he & his fiance seem to have 1 big knockdown, drag-out fight a month. My mom is overly involved but then is mad and says his fiance's mom needs to stay out of their business. I'm just SO over it. Let me know where I need to be the first weekend of October...should I mention they're supposed to be getting married on my anniversary?
3. I've had a headache since Saturday afternoon I can't get rid of. Excedrin Migraine I miss you!
Oooh! I thought of a rave - Aaron Rodgers, that is all

How are you feeling?: Tired from a busy weekend and fighting this headache. Other than that doing pretty good!

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving - no pressure just family, food, and football

Due date: March 24 - I've been in week 4 before, and so just checked week 3 dates. Week three goes through 23rd. Haha.

Any appointments? Questions?: Next Monday.

Rants/Raves?: I can't stand people who don't go the speed limit, especially in the left lane. Or, you know, it's sprinkling so that means the speed limit is 30 mph. If weather scares you that much, get off the ever-loving road and take a break.

How are you feeling?: Exhausted, utterly spent. 2 YO is finishing up strep antibiotics, DH is finishing up upper respiratory antibiotics. 2 YO has also started sleeping terribly. She's so reliable with sleeping, but woke up from 5:15 to 5:45 am on Sunday (I refused to go in her room, just spoke over her monitor. She was fine, just awake, playing with her stuffed animals). This morning she woke up at 2 am and DH went and rocked her a bit.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving. No gift-giving to worry about, everyone just brings a dish and pigs out. It's a wonderful day.

Also, I have been lurking on and off, it's just been busy at work and home recently, so I haven't been as active.

@kapowfal lol That could be my bad ob the dates! I think I saw the 24th was a Sunday, so why I went with the 25th. Either way...stay and hang out with us

Babies are rarely on time anyways! So sorry everyone in your house is sick...hope it gets better soon!

So sorry about all your family craziness that's going on. Wtf is up with them getting married on your wedding day? That's so strange to me, esp for a sibling...I mean there are 365 days a year! Sorry about your headache...I tend to get tension headaches more often now and tylenol def doesn't do much for me either!

Any appointments? Questions?: Friday had my 1st OB appt. Did a ton of blood work and another ultrasound. Next one isn't til October. But thankfully my OB is referring me to a high risk doctor so can get more ultrasounds.

Rants/Raves?: Excited to have my mom move to town. Praying her house is sold and she's in her new one before the holidays.

How are you feeling?: Feeling great since off progesterone and estrogen meds. I think just having alarms set all day started becoming a burden. Plus, since off them...the bloating isn't quite as bad.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? I love Christmas....mainly for all the lights and decorating. Plus, we have family that comes to town we don't see often. But also love Thanksgiving for all the yummy food and the whole no gift stuff! This year I'm looking forward to Black Friday shopping to stalk any good baby deals!

@kristimh80 Pretty sure this headache is the build-up of steam waiting to come out my ears over everything I'm raging about this week LOL. And, yeah, my brother has always been a selfish kid who doesn't think of others. Had this whole explanation why it had to be that date and it was basically the same reason why I picked it. Didn't ask if he could get married on my anniversary, told me he was getting married that day and that mom reminded him it was my anniversary. *sigh*
PS - you totally just gave me a whole new reason to Black Friday shop! I mean this is kiddo #2 but who can pass up some fun deals?

Any appointments? Questions?: Tomorrow!! This will just be the basic check in no ultrasound. I’ve had previous miscarriages and with my last pregnancy they offered a hand held ultrasound at the 12 week appt. it wasn’t great quality but it was such a relief to see so I’m hoping they will do that again.

Rants/Raves?: I have been loving the fall weather these past couple of days!! If tomorrow’s appt goes well, we will be telling our families the news so I’m even more nervous/excited for this appt.

How are you feeling?: Still nauseous most of the day and today a bit crampy so I’m trying to just take it easy.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving and Easter. My favorite foods and no presents (easter baskets are stress free presents) and quality family time!!

@kristimh80 Right now it's just all the drama of are they/aren't they getting married? DH, DD, and I are all supposed to be in the wedding and it's a 8 1/2 hour car ride one way to get there so it's a huge commitment for us. They better make up their minds soon... It would probably be easier to fly but with DD we're going to try to make a long weekend of it and go to a museum or zoo or something fun so the trip just isn't the wedding.

@HoneyBear40 If the wedding is less than a month and they can't decide to get married or not...that's kind of troubling. People needs to make plans, but if I had those worries before my marriage...I'd take it as a big red flag.

Any appointments? Questions?: Thursday for genetic counseling, NIPT blood draw and 12 week ultrasound!

Rants/Raves?: I'm going with @HoneyBear40 and raving about Aaron Freaking Rodgers!

How are you feeling?: So much better. My anxiety is pretty well under control and the sinus and ear infection are finally gone (took 10 days to clear up even on antibiotics!). Pregnancy wise I'm very crampy and my boobs have suddenly started hurting again, but otherwise fine.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Pretty much all of them between now and New Years!

Wednesday! I was told by a nurse we’d get to hear the heartbeat. We’ll see Wednesday what the doctor says!
We’re still deciding if we should do genetic testing...so I guess that’s my question...

Rants/Raves?: HORMONES! On Friday I came home and cried after work. And again on Sunday. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, I just felt stressed and angry and had to cry. I really don’t like feeling that way.

How are you feeling?:
Mostly good. I also suffer from headaches almost every other day and Tylenol doesn’t do it for me. This past week I’ve felt more nauseous than I have the whole pregnancy. It’s mostly in the afternoon or evening.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving! I love all the foods! Except the turkey!

@jesiannv Wednesday sounds like an exciting day!! Hopefully they'll do an ultrasound for you as well. I had my appt Friday and they did along with a lot of blood work. Genetic testing is such a personal thing. We did on our embryos beforehand mainly to avoid miscarriages from abnormals, but they also check for down syndrome, etc. Guess in a way, it wouldn't be bad to do in case you needed to prepare for the future. But I also get why you wouldn't want to do it. Either way, I always say go with your gut feeling...it'll never do you wrong

Any appointments? Questions?: Just had my 12 week appointment today! Baby didn’t cooperate for the Doppler so we got to have another ultrasound. It was so fun to see baby moving around in there!

Rants/Raves?: Rave - I am loving my class this year! They are so sweet! I think I will be sad that I won’t get to spend the whole year with them.

How are you feeling?: Not bad at all. Still some crazy food aversions. MH wanted to add bacon to something and I told him no. What? Who am I?

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? St. Paddy’s Day!!!

Any appointments? Questions?: Friday. I had my NIPT appt last Thursday and was told I would have a ultrasound but didn't. This Friday is the ultrasound.

Rants/Raves?: I feel huge! I've had 2 kids already so I remember how you feel much bigger than you are but literally sitting is putting pressure on lungs already.

How are you feeling?: Nauseous which I try to think of as good.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving. It's so comfy.

@jesiannv We almost didn't with our first, anything would not have changed our minds. But knowledge is power and being prepared can be so helpful. I'm sure others will say that their results caused them needless stress but I would much rather know.

@jesiannv I have gone back and forth sooo many times. I think I’ve finally decided not to just because the results wouldn’t change anything for my course of action.

I’ve had previous early miscarriages and so the first 8-20 weeks of pregnancy are kinda of stressful for me...I don’t want the latter weeks to be stressful too (especially if it turned out to be a false alarm). But like I said, I still keep going back and forth.

Any appointments? Questions?: NIPT blood draw and12 week appointment today. Ob couldn't get the hb with the Doppler, so had to get another us. Longest 40 min of my life, but everything was fine, baby measuring 12w4d today. I really should ask what due date is actually on my chart (3/20-25 possible range). I've decided to skip the 16 wk and 24 wk appts, so next one is the 20 wk anatomy scan on 11/6

Rants/Raves?: Rant - I'm so done with this ob office. They are 2for2 at ducking up my appointments. Today they had me make a payment, but failed to actually check me in on their computer, so I had to wait an extra hour to be seen. I've switched to the other office for the rest of my visits (same ob though, love her.) Rave - finally done painting in dd's room at the new house, aw pic included.

How are you feeling?: crazy. All day I feel basically not-pregnant, but then 2 am hits and it's some extreme reminder that I definitely am.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Superbowl Sunday. I host a group of boardgaming friends every year and we play games while we watch. Everyone has settled into a nice rotation of hosting -Halloween, boxing day, nye, new years day - but Superbowl is my turn and I love it.

Any appointments? Questions?: Seeing MFM specialist on Wednesday for NT scan, US, genetic testing, etc. Buuuuut I have to fly to Honolulu for this appt & Hurricane Olivia may keep me from being able to go. Fingers crossed since I forgot about my regular appt last week w/my regular ob

Rants/Raves?: Doors are flying open on the job hunt, thank you Jesus!!!

How are you feeling?: So-so. Nowhere near as sick as before, but still weird and headache-y and kind of nauseous. And hella tired of waking up at 3 am to pee & then lying awake for hours. O-ver it!

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Thanksgiving & Christmas because they’re so traditional in my huge family. We still carol around the neighborhood.

Any appointments? Questions?: currently waiting for blood work for one hour glucose due to rampant family history of diabetes. Have a level 2 ultrasound next week since I’m advanced maternal age.

Rants/Raves?: wish my energy would come back. I feel like a slug.

How are you feeling?: meh. Sluggish and hungry.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Christmas and Halloween. Can’t really choose between them.

@HoneyBear40 Good luck with your ultrasound! They really make everything seem so real! We weren’t supposed to get another one at my appointment this week, but the doctor gave us a little peek since there was a machine in the room!! Wow, can that baby move! I hope yours also goes well!

...an update on our decision for screening tests...we decided to do the NIPT test. After I told the nurse our decision she said most patients choose that, since my insurance covers. I’m glad they waited to share that information and haven’t pushed any of the optional tests at all. Now we wait! Which always worries me a little, but I’m staying positive and running off that ultrasound high!

Rants/Raves?: so irritated....natera wasn't able to process my Pan Rama due to insufficiency and my doctor's office says they don't have the results yet so there is nothing I can do until next Tuesday when my doctor comes into the office

How are you feeling?: lots of rlp, major fatigue (3rd week back to working FT) and hungry all the time

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Christmas. I lotlve the lights, music and decorations.

Rants/Raves?: Cleaning our basement sucks. The old owners really didn't clean it and it is disgusting. We've been deep cleaning portions as we go (painting, etc.). Currently cleaning the block which is still stained from previous fixed water damage. I'm so over it and I've only done two big stain sections out of 5 which need cleaned. Hope DH will pitch in this weekend (unlikely since he's on call, but a girl can dream, right?)

How are you feeling?: finally getting some energy back. I don't feel like a slug ALL DAY, which is a big improvement. Anyone else getting a lot of headaches? Mine have been fairly constant.

Allergy meds are helping, thankfully.

GTKY: What's your favorite holiday? Christmas! I love decorating and the spirit of the season. Not to mention all the cute clothes to wear!

@catlady2015 I know! MH looked at me like I had lost it! I totally ordered a sandwich with bacon on it the next night, so I don’t have a bacon aversion. I just didn’t want it in that particular food. Nothing about pregnancy and food makes sense to me.

u/s went great! Measured 11w6d on Friday when I was 12w so only 1 day behind, not bad at all! Heart rate was good - so much relief!!
