PSA: Group gifting on your Amazon Baby registry

So tonight I was adding silicone sous vide bags to our baby registry as you do, and noticed something new in the Edit options.

Group gifting! Continued in the spoiler - with giant photos

So you click Edit on whatever registry item - I did this on the desktop site, not sure how easy it is to manage in the Amazon App.

After you enable group gifting, you see this handy progress bar

It seems that group supplied funds are available as gift card funds - so it seems that the group funds can actually be used on anything.

I have already enabled group gifting on the high dollar items, and might enable it for all items over $20. FX.

That’s super cool!! Also @echo-charlietango that is the BEST bottle warmer ever.
I have one here and one at my moms and the day I thought mine broke I seriously panicked.

@echo-charlietango That's awesome. I should set that up for our bigger items (crib and carseat) incase anyone decides they want to help us purchase those. I wonder if Target has that option too? If not they should!!

Thanks, @echo-charlietango. I also saw that the other day (will probably add the option for stroller and car seats), but that’s interesting that the funds appear to be available as gift cards. Any idea whether our completion discount applies to items purchased with those “gift cards” (would make the funds go a little further)?

I ask because that is literally my husband's plan. "We don't need a bottle warmer. We have a sous vide!"

@binxybaby Well, this particular warmer is a sous vide! From the description on Amazon "Creates a flowing warm water bath to quickly and gently thaw and warm breast milk according to CDC and USDA guidance"
We don't have a sous vide otherwise

I've read that the timer is perfect for varying milk temps.
