I just realized I have one more bus pass to buy (October) and can get away with bus tickets until I go on mat leave!

Other countdown things until mat leave:

Only 2 long weekends
Only 5 bi-weekly team meetings
All 8 weekly Childbirth classes

What are some fun countdown things for you?

Not necessarily something I'm counting down, but I've been training my coworker on end of month balancing things we do so she can be prepared while I'm gone. It's crazy to not have as much to do since I'm essentially starting to pass things over to her! Plus only one more quarter balancing to do before I'm gone. Can't think of anything else at the moment.

This is kind of boring since it's not an event or anything, but I realized recently that it's less than 100 days until my due date! 92 days left. Anyone due before Dec. 14 is down to under 100 days.

On a less happy note, 13 weeks of classes left. That's all of them and they go right up until my due date

Today is exactly 3 months until my due date! I also just completed my last graduation today that I have to put together before my due date. I also only have one more on boarding of new nurse groups before my due date.

@kadeephd I just realized that today to! I'm at 95 days.

I'm counting down mostly in terms of work. Two more upgrades. One more release. Three more staff meetings. Things like that. I'm also always terrified when I start thinking about number of weekends left before baby comes. Right now, if I deliver at 40 weeks, that's 14 more weekends. Half of which are probably all booked up at this point. That's.... not a lot of free days left to prep to bring this kid home.

Hmm...less than 2 weeks until H leaves for his overseas 3rd trimester work trip is the biggest one. And two more airplane trips. Nothing really big though. I’ll have to invent something for myself.

I'm counting down by work and by big (non baby related) events. I have 2 monthly meetings and 1 quarterly meeting before maternity leave and 3 big events (1 wedding, 1 vow renewal and 1 centennial gala) before maternity leave.

This is fun! Right now I'm just counting down until the end of October when all sports for the big kids will be over and my work deadline is done. I'll have to come up with more creative things!

@snugglyduckling25 ditto! Oct 27th all games end for both boys and I get a break from running!! woo. Now it's survival until then. Other than that there are too many things to list in this countdown but that is major since it's adding a @hit ton of stress on me with my husband traveling.

@katy0990 oh I didn't think about that! Looks like 8 appts with my MFM (7 of those being weekly!!), so about 4-6 maybe with the regular OB? Not sure when I start every other with her.

I don't have my exact c-section day, but if I go off my assumption, 11w4d! My face is melting off at that; for real!

I'm with you @kadeephd- one semester! Bb is due for me during finals week (not that it affects me much, but interesting to count down)! Also I'm counting by things that need to get done:
Pack
Close on houses
Move
Baby shower
Baby classes
Write a book chapter
Have babyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

6 weeks until twice weekly fetal monitoring starts
13 weeks until induction

3w3d until I “start over”.
7w5d until Halloween.
8w until baby girl’s sprinkle.
11w until thanksgiving
13w (at latest) to induction due to dangerously quick labor (ds1 3 hours, ds2 45 minute induction)

Only 2 1 zero other A16 next-gen babies ahead of this one. My one and only countdown ended this morning; I'm next (knock on wood, as the next due date after mine is in January and I want all our babies to be fully cooked before they emerge)!

1 Stay-cation for me while DH is prancing around Europe
3 Dog groomings
1 MIL visit
1 Birthday something for DH (he still doesn't know what he wants for gifts or activities)

Oooh countdowns. I love countdowns!

3 days till I cut out processed carbs and sugars for a month (I've been eating all the carbs when I used to not... so I'm trying to reset back to starchy carbs and veggies instead of bagels and donuts, lol, especially with my GD test coming up)
2 more birth classes (we started early )
0 more appts before I go to every 2 weeks. (My next appt is at 26 weeks, then I assume at 28?)
15 weeks till my due date
10 weeks till I start cutting back on work
14 weeks till maternity leave
8 and 9 weeks till our baby showers (family and then friends the weekend after)

@morgantu I like you idea of a to-do list as well. Here's mine:

Roommate to move out
Get crib and set up nursery in the room where roommate was
Clean up / organize guest-craft room when all baby things are in the nursery
Finish the fireplace remodel so our living room is not a construction zone
Finish the shed project
Then I can organize the basement when all our outdoor/garage items get put in a shed rather than the finished basement
Get rid of things we don't need!

Not much for me .
11 weeks til Thanksgiving when my doc has a hunch I will have to deliver.
6 more periods (this is more scary then anything)
3 more supervisor reviews to write .( I hate them. They're painful to write .they're at least 10 pages each. During my leave i will skip about 4 of these bad boys and I'm thrilled)

@PensiveCrayon I was wondering that, too! If she is having periods while pregnant often enough to have 6 in 11 weeks, she wins for worst pregnancy symptom.

I got nothin! I'm gonna vicariously live through someone else's countdown's because our summer was so nuts but there's nothing going on between now and D-day other than a lot of sports and school crap for my kids. Oh and Thanksgiving! OH, and my 30th bday which is in.... 11 weeks and 4 days! It's very possible I'll be having a baby on my birthday this year
