How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. Just dealing with lovely heartburn and the need to eat anything bad lol
Any recent / upcoming appointments? Friday ~ 1st appt with OB.
Thoughts/Concerns? Friday is also my last day of PIO & estrogen, which is exciting but hoping my OB will run bloodwork just in case!
Questions: How was everyone's Labor day weekend? We had a good relaxing few days. Today have been "nesting" and making roomie closet / room for baby.
What's you favorite Fall holiday? Thanksgiving! Esp being preggo...all I can think of it the yummy food!

    10 weeks!

    How are you feeling?
Super bloat going on here. Every time I eat I feel soooo bloated after. I haven't gained any weight yet overall, but I find I'm needing stretchy pants/legging anyways or else I get really uncomfortable. Otherwise good!

    Any recent / upcoming appointments?
First OB appt will be Sept 17. Seems like a long wait!

    Thoughts/Concerns?
This is feeling very real to me now. I know that getting out of 1st trimester is the real milestone... but somehow after my 9 week u/s I found I was able to relax a bit and enjoy the thought of being pregnant!

    What's you favorite Fall holiday?
@kristimh80 I love thanksgiving too!! Bonus this year is that I think we'll be telling our extended family the good news by then... but also I can't wait for all the pie :):) I hope my minor meat aversion goes away by then so I can enjoy the turkey properly.

  • @scikap I had a meat aversion as well, and it was gone by around 13 weeks. Fingers crossed yours will be too!
  • @scikap I feel you on the bloat! Mainly at night time it's the worst. I'm a pescatarian, but have the same issues. I use to eat salmon weekly, now the thought of it makes me cringe. Everyone thought being preggo, I'd go the opposite and start eating all meat, but it's made me revert back to my vegetarian ways.

Personally, I can't wait til 2nd trimester...I'm ready to shop for cute maternity clothes. But right now just feel like I look silly looking at them lol

    How are you feeling?
Honestly, terrible. Between the nausea, morning sickness and food aversions this has been tough. I keep telling myself to be grateful that I have symptoms but it's a challenge.

Any recent / upcoming appointments? US next Tuesday!

    Thoughts/Concerns/Questions:
    Not right now!

What's you favorite Fall holiday? I love everything about fall. I already have mums on my front stoop. I'm in MN so it get so so beautiful here September - November. I am not a huge halloween fan, but Thanksgiving is a 10! Love it!

  • How far along are you? / 10 weeks + 6 days EDD 3/27/19

How are you feeling?   Been waking up with a dull headache these days.  Trying to stay hydrated as much as I can.  Otherwise, not too bad with the exception of today, had a bout of nausea, but went away quick.  I'm super bloated.  Up already 4.5 lbs!

Any recent / upcoming appointments?   My next appointment will be in two weeks when I'll be 13 weeks for the nuchal translucency test.

    Thoughts/Concerns? Questions:

What's you favorite Fall holiday?  Thanksgiving because I love eating!
  • 7w6days/mid april

    feeling pretty ok. Just tired.

Had an US yesterday and she’s starting to look like something. Very exciting.  Next appoint at 9 weeks to hear heartbeat. They are starting to wean me off drugs so I’m happy about that. Not sure how many more places I can stick myself and it’s really starting to hurt now.

Halloween is the best for me. Very low pressure holiday.

  • At what point did those of you who are taking medications for nausea say something to your RE or OB? I am wondering if I am being to "proud" or trying to "tough this out". I pretty much have nausea all day and have tried adding in crackers every few hours, drinking tons of water, etc. Any other tips?

  • @madasm0530 um at my appt at 6 weeks because I puked that morning before going in!
I’d bring it up and see if meds help a little. Nothing besides meds help me. My NP did say B6 is supposed to help with nausea for pregnant women, I tried it and got sick so I went back to the meds. Maybe give the b6 a shot and see if you feel any better??

    @madasm0530
Not me, but my sister took Zofran/Ondansetron for vomiting throughout her pregnancy -- she had very severe morning sickness though (and not just in the morning!) to the point of frequent vomiting. I had very bad nausea myself (no vomiting though, i'm not a puker in general) and would tell my doctors about it, but they just said add in saltines every few hours and staying hydrated. I think they might only prescribe meds if they were worried that you might dehydrate.

    @50Wife
I developed massive knots under my skin due to the frequent trauma from the needles

  • @50Wife
I think it took at least a couple weeks or more shot-free for my butt to start feeling normal. PIO is such a wonderful experience XD  I was definitely knot free by 20 weeks though.

  • Thanks @50wife and @mbradfo2! I think I'll mention it at my US next week. If something as simple as B6 will help, I'd rather go that route!

  • @madasm0530- Most will prescribe diclegis if you ask.. its just B6 and Unisom so totally safe. Some insurance wont cover it though, so you can just buy B6 and Unisom seperately. The Unisom can cause drowsiness, so it helped me sleep well. The max doses is 2 pills before bed, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Def worth asking about it!

    Back for # 2!
  • Hi everyone! To quickly introduce myself... I have one daughter who is about to turn 7. Right after she turned 2, we decided to try for baby #2 and after 2.5 years of trying on our own, started seeing a fertility doctor. Three rounds of IUI were unsuccessful, as was our first IVF cycle. Our second attempt at IVF (frozen cycle) was interrupted because I ovulated on my own despite the medication. We took a break for almost a year and then started up with a new fertility doctor earlier this year. FET took place in July and thankfully was successful, and here we are. It's a little surreal!

How far along are you? / EDD - I am 10w6d, EDD March 29
How are you feeling? Overall feeling pretty good, I'm queasy throughout most of the day and pretty tired. I have a subchorionic hematoma which is annoying and just a constant thing to deal with, but knock on wood it's not too bad.
Any recent / upcoming appointments? I have my first OB appointment tonight actually! I met with a nurse at the OB office two weeks ago, had an ultrasound at the office last Monday, and now am officially seeing the OB tonight.
Thoughts/Concerns? Questions: I haven't told anyone at work yet so it's been stressful trying to schedule doctor's appointments and trying not to use too much sick time (especially since I need to save it up for leave)! I will probably tell people once I hit the second semester and/or start showing, I guess?
What's you favorite Fall holiday? Thanksgiving!

  • Welcome @uterusdreams! There are a few of us here with similar EDDs - I'm April 2.
I've also had a hard time hiding my doctors appts from co-workers - all my appts have been at really inconvenient times like the middle of the day! Luckily I haven't bee sick other than mild queasiness so I haven't cut into my sick time yet. I'm planning to tell my boss and co-workers around 13 weeks or so.

@madasm0530 Went really well! Lots of blood work! They did an ultrasound, but I will say I miss my IVF clinic's ultrasound tech! But it was good and we got to hear the heartbeat. Its crazy how fast they grow...I was expecting to see an actual looking hand lol Luckily, my OB is going to refer me to a high risk doctor to see as well so I can have more ultrasounds more frequently.

@scikap Thank you! Luckily my OB has evening hours and it looks like I should be able to schedule then moving forward - but the first few when I had to get in on a timeline were a bit more all over the place.

@kristimh80 Thank you! My appointments have been sort of clumped together but from here on out they should be more regular. :)
