How are you feeling? Better than I was last week! My morning sickness has let up quite a bit, and I've found that if I keep a few crackers or food on my stomach at all times, it doesn't hit me so hard and is a lot more manageable. I have to literally eat 3 or 4 saltines before I even get out of bed though. I'm not feeling as moody, and I'm sleeping a bit better too. I'll take it as long as it wants to stick around.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? All questions surrounding being pregnant while in the first 18 months of gastric sleeve surgery; I'm 9 months post sleeve, and my biggest concern right now is eating the right foods to keep baby and I healthy.
Any appointments? Not again until around 11 weeks, but I just had one on Friday and saw the little bean! Heartbeat and everything looked good.
Questions?
How are you feeling? Some of the symptoms seem to be ramping up for me this week. Was up with nausea in the middle of the night, and it hit hard again this morning. Also first ridiculous crying session today.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Cradle cap (3 year old has it), cool house plants, a news article I wanted to tell my husband about, dinner ideas, and the federal budget including both discretionary and mandatory spending.
How are you feeling? Getting a little worse each day unfortunately. My son is not sleeping well so I think my lack of sleep is making me feel crummier. I’m feeling super tired but it could really be lack of sleep over fatigue. Nausea is increasing but is still not nearly as bad as my last pregnancy.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? This is hard! I don’t remember! Hmmm...a restaurant for my dad’s birthday dinner, locations for a first birthday party (clearly I am a birthday planning machine), probably something about babies, probably something about pregnancy, probably food.
Any appointments? Not until the 23rd! Though I may need to get in to see the backup OB (I'm working with a midwife) this week about nausea meds.
Questions?
How are you feeling? Exhausted and less nauseous though vomiting more. I had quite the emotional rollercoaster this past week trying to come off one of my psychiatric meds we thought I didn't need... Turns out I do need it! BUT it makes me so nauseous that I loose it at least 1/3 of the time I take it, and I'm miserable for an hour or so the other times. :-/ Hopefully the psychiatrist and OB can figure out a good plan. I have been sleeping so much! I don't work, which is a HUGE blessing right now, so I'm able to sleep 10+hrs and night and then take a 2hr nap. I can't believe my baby is the size of a raspberry right now :-D that's huge! We're starting to wonder if it could be twins? But we decided against an early Ultrasound, so I guess we'll wait and see. I haven't been measured yet, and will be for the first time on the 23rd at 10weeks, if I'm measuring ahead then we may have to take a peak :-) (we're positive about our dates, and I've looked at a lot of pregnancy progression photos and I definitely look a few weeks bigger than I am!)
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Latkes recipe, birth doulas, cinnamon rolls recipe, how to tell if your having twins, local ramen restaurant
Haha yes I do like food :-), though usually a lot more, this has been rough!
Any appointments? I had one last Thursday, was released from my RE and have an appointment with my OB on Friday.
Questions? Nada
How are you feeling? I can’t eat much and the “morning” sickness hits me in the evening. Bleh.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? If a furniture store was open today (it’s not), a breakfast restaurant I want to go to next week, Harry Potter nursery ideas, pumpkin bread recipe, and probably a restaurant phone number.
Any appointments? Sep 13th is the final u/s with my RE! This will make u/s number 4, UGH. Jealous of those who can forgo the early appts.
Questions? None right now.
How are you feeling? Nausea and fatigue are much worse. I work at home on our small farm and I make pottery, and honestly both of these have taken a hit the last few weeks. These Week 7 symptoms are no fun. Now I'm just happy to keep down my thyroid meds in the mornings, and feel accomplished if I get out of bed. Don't know how folks go away to work at this stage, I can't sleep at night and then have to nap, still not getting much sleep overall.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Descriptions of labor pains, benefits of walking barefoot, why I keep getting the chills, why I keep getting headaches, and when does baby develop its nervous system. Guess you can tell where my brain is
Hi! My due date changed from 4/11 to 4/17 so I guess I’m checking in here now!
Due date: 4/17
Any appointments? 9/13 for another ultrasound
Questions? Not really any yet
How are you feeling? Nauseous all day long. I’m also sad because I just don’t feel a connection to the baby yet. Maybe it’s because it’s my second time around.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? If tums during pregnancy is safe. Cute maternity flannels. Breastfeeding with pierced nipples. Breastfeeding after breast reduction. Pitch counters for kegel exercises
Any appointments? Not for 2 ish more weeks when chances to hear baby's heartbeat are better
Questions? Nope
How are you feeling? Morning sickness now includes dizziness and lightheadedness to the point I nearly pass out. Just trying to get enough nutrition now. And watching myself lose weight like why lol

Any appointments? Had first appointment last week with a midwife group, but my blood pressure was too high for me to continue with them :’( so calling ob practice tomorrow to schedule next next appointment
Questions? Any high protein snack recommendations!
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Told the families this weekend and enjoying everyone’s excitement

Due date: It just got pushed to 21st of April, but it could really happen earlier because we just found out it's twins!!
Any appointments? First ultra sound was yesterday, and first visit with midwife will be on the 11th.
Questions? OMG so many! We know nothing about twins so the mind was running wild with questions all day yesterday, like how do they sleep - together or in two cribs? Who will my body handle this? Do we have space in our apartment for 2 babies? Any tipstips on twins please let me know!
How are you feeling? Nauseous for two and quite tired, but mostly excited to see two heartbeats in there and happy about telling friends and family (who got very chocked).
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Twin stroller options, twin cribs, how to prepare for twins, you get it... All the twin stuff...
Any appointments? Next Monday! Finally under a week.
Questions? Nah
How are you feeling? Effing. Miserable. This weekend I moved from just gagging to full-on vomit and debilitating bouts of nausea. I'm at my desk here waiting for it to hit me here. The only thing that helps is to lay down and nibble on pretzels. I tried a more proactive approach today by eating some EARLY, but we'll see if that helps or not.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Papa John's Italian Hero Pizza review (result: apparently good) Cartoon movie guy with big head (result: Megamind) Muni lot address (result: 1500 S. Marginal) Turtles (result: turtles) White oval pill l484 (result: acetaminophen 500mg)
@sheepshepherdess I keep getting the chills too. I was thinking it was because I'm not sleeping enough to combat the fatigue and nausea. This didn't happen to me last time but I was also getting a pretty good amount of sleep, and it sounds like you're not sleeping well either. Find anything enlightening?
@harveyisaboysname I have to admit I'm not feeling a strong connection to the new baby yet either. Could be a product of it being the second time around... You can't focus only on the unborn baby because there's another little one in front of you that needs you, probably even more. I'm hoping that after my first ultrasound today I'll feel more connected - I still just feels like it's not real.
@kaleesi93 when you look at rings, think about what you're going to want to wear every day also. Of course pick what you like, and if you think you're not the type to wear your ring every day then don't worry about it, but you may not want a 6 carat rock sticking out off your hand every day, especially while you're taking care of a baby!
Any appointments? This Thursday i have an ultrasound :-)
Questions? Nope
How are you feeling? Better than last week but still not wonderful
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? I was just googling versatile double strollers. I have the chicco keyfit 30 infant car seat and wish chicco made a versatile double stroller like the chicco modes duo but i guess the chicco cortina will have to do!
mamma_swede - I have twin brothers and a friend who had twins. I would plan on getting two cribs because they need their own space to sleep safe. They will grow up to be the best of friends. My brothers talk every morning and every evening. For your sake, I would try to get them on the same schedule ASAP so you can try to get some sleep in between feedings. Because if one wakes to eat and then falls asleep as the other one is waking, you're in for a loooooong night!
@Piccola1988 I agree with not enough sleep, and I'll add not enough food in the mornings and evenings. Turns out I have to snack every hour(!) and eat small meals every 2 hours in the mornings and then again in the evenings. Midday my body can go 3 hours between meals. Even if I'm not necessarily experiencing nausea, my body wants more food all the time! Also I'm blaming my thyroid, my RE just upped my meds at the end of last week and I think it was a little late. And lastly, apparently it's totally normal with all the hormonal and temperature changes in the body. I pile on the blankets and use my microwave warmer (mine has wheat in it) to make my feet feel normal again.
@mamma_swede There is a part of me that's jealous of your twins, but a larger part that is so excited for you and the unexpected double addition to your family, congrats!!
@mama_swede My husband and I did foster care last year and cared for a set of 12mo old twin girls. They were allowed to sleep together (which must mean it's safe... Foster care is all about liability and everything they allow us studied like crazy), and we found that they slept much better together. How exciting for you :-) Congratulations and good luck ;-) (you'll be fine though, I promise :-) )!
@Piccola1988 that's all solid. Honestly I've just never been into carats, just rare gemstones that nobody else wants. The one I love just happens to be 6 carat but I have told the BF he can get it remade into something smaller because I don't want anything gaudy.. it's just difficult when you're in the market for something not popular, you take what you can get and work with it I suppose but I still had a massive google frenzy to try to calm my mind. Also since I like oval, floating basket styles I'm hoping that it won't end up being lame around babies. But if it is, I probably won't wear it every day
@mrstmoose thanks for the feeding tips, I'm so excited for the babies to have a little friend around (especially since I'm already 33 and no babies since before) we'll have to see what kind of sleeping arrangement we get for them, I've herd about different options and it seems like some like sleeping together while others don't. I guess their characters will have to shine through .
@sheepshepherdess I understand, it feels like a privilege to get two little ones at the same time. We know it will be hard work but we have waited so long and are both big fans of babies (DH gets jealous if he doesn't get to hold our friends babies as much as me) so I think we'll do fine. There's a lot of love to go around.
@molecularmolly thanks! That must have been a very special experience. It seems to me like we'll have to wait and see what they prefer - sleeping together or not.
Any appointments? Not this week, I was supposed to have my first appointment today but MS came on strong at 6w and I pushed up my first appointment just to get some pharmaceutical relief, lol!
Questions? Anyone else having crazy heartburn already? I don't remember this until much later when LO is actually big enough to push on my stomach. It is crazy.
How are you feeling? Constant nausea/heartburn, severe food aversions, and tension headaches. I have been on diclegis around the clock for 2 weeks and I'm constantly popping pepcid and tylenol. I swear I take waaaaay more medication while pregnant then I ever do normally! Gah! Waiting for a little relief, but if this pregnancy is anything like my first two I am not holding out much hope.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Size of baby at 8w and synonyms of crossword puzzle clues (I'm a cheater!).

Any appointments? Had one last Thursday, and this Thursday I'm going for a dating ultrasound. Baby measured exactly right (7 weeks) at my last appointment, but because my periods were so wonky and we have a history of loss, my doctor just wants to make sure that what we think is on time really is. I'm excited to get to see this LO again! And, although I know baby's growth measurement isn't always exactly to-the-day, I'm hoping to see him or her measure 8 weeks - my first (and latest, pregnancy-wise) loss measured 7 weeks 6 days, so 8 weeks feels like a milestone for us.
Questions? None!
How are you feeling? Soooo tired! Today was my first day back at work - between the insomnia from being pregnant, the worry over my daughter's first day at day care, and the physical effort of commuting with my knee still in recovery, I'm beat. I'm busting out the Snoogle and trying to get a good night's sleep tonight! Other symptoms-wise, I'm feeling pretty good. I knew my whole life would be in chaos with me going back to work, so I've been taking my probiotics and really focusing on eating small balanced meals throughout the day - it seems to have helped with the nausea.
What are the last 5 things you Googled (not work related)? Watch Me Grow (my daughter's day care video app), Bugaboo Donkey 2 (I would never spend that much on a stroller, but I'm obsessed with the side pocket on it - my dog would LOVE it!), my daughter's day care phone number, how long does pre-prepared baby cereal stay good in the fridge, how to survive the first day of day care.
