It's been a while since we did a ticket change so I figured I'd get the ball rolling.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

31 weeks, the size of an American football

2. How are you feeling?

Mostly good but I started getting leg cramps and pains in my back and hips every once in a while.

3. Any appointments this week?

Nope, not till September 11

4. Rants/raves/questions?
I get easily annoyed when I wanna buy stuff for the nursery and DH wants to wait to price comparison or look around some more. I just wanna get things done and have everything. I know he is doing a good job in keeping me responsible but ugh, it's so annoying! I told him earlier today I just wanted to go home and don't wanna go shopping with him anymore.

5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Trying to get the nursery together. I want to buy & install the shelves & poles to make use of the closet this week. As of now, all that's there are sliding doors.

6. GTKY: What was your most memorable Birthday growing up?

Now that I think about it, did we already do this question? Sorry if it was a repeat!

One of my favorite birthdays growing up (I forgot what age) I had 3 friends sleep over the night before and we went to the movies. The morning of my birthday we went to the beach then later we went ice skating at ice palace. It was so much fun and we we're all so exhausted by the end.

thanks @kamahina9 for starting this! Im glad we arent the only ones still working on the nursery.

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

29 week; the size of a squash or small pineapple

2. How are you feeling?

Feeling pretty good, tired, leg cramps, and the MS is slowly creeping back but overall good.

3. Any appointments this week?

Yes, ultrasound with high risk docs tomorrow am and follow up with my OB in the afternoon.

4. Rants/raves/questions?
Starting to get real nervous about having a c section even though all my coworkers have said a scheduled c section is sp much easier. Im just nervous about a major surgery and the recovery on general.
Also, feeling like we really want to narrow down a name so we can stop callong him baby ha.

5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
We really havent done much so today going to clean out the "nursery" and slowly start getting stuff tigether hopefully.

6. GTKY: What was your most memorable Birthday growing up?
I had few parties but one involved having all my friends over, and we had a fairy come over and do face painting ha. I think I was like 8 maybe?

1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

29 weeks, baby is the size of an acorn squash, or a New England cottontail, or Gizmo from Gremlins.

2. How are you feeling?

Tired, but I think it's just normal going back to work tired. Some days I'll have swollen ankles by the time I get home, though it's getting less the more I'm getting used to being on my feet so much again. Also, the abdominal pain can be horrible. I bought a support belt this weekend so I hope that helps.

3. Any appointments this week?

MFM on Wednesday! I love going to MFM because I get to see baby girl. Wednesday I will be 29+3, which is one day past when I gave birth to DS, and I'm looking forward to seeing baby girl still on the inside!

4. Rants/raves/questions?
I'm quickly approaching the point where I will be more pregnant than I've ever been before and I don't quite know what to do with myself. It sounds like I'll be practically living at my 2 doctor's offices by the end of the month.
I think I've been waiting for this point to "let myself" feel pregnant. I'm not sure why, but I remember thinking after DS was born that I wasn't done being pregnant and I felt cheated out of getting to the point of being miserable. I know it sounds crazy, but it's honestly how I felt.

5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Touch up paint around the door frame and some baseboards in the nursery, building the bookcase (that will be a temp wardrobe) and gathering all the clothes that are scattered around the house to wash then put away in the nursery. Probably ordering some new curtains, too. The ones we got just don't look how I imagined they would >.>
6. GTKY: What was your most memorable Birthday growing up?
15th birthday. I was home alone and tornado touched down less than a mile from the house. :-O I've never had a super awesome birthday, being that mine is sandwiched between Christmas and New Years. The holidays are always more fun.

2. How are you feeling?

I'm still sick, so I'm even more miserable. Contractions every timei cough is getting old quickly.

3. Any appointments this week?

Yup, weekly monitoring tomorrow. We will go over delivery and when I will be starting NSTs

5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
I'm going to get washing all 0-3 month clothes. I need to buy some more zip sleepers as some of mine have disappeared.
6. GTKY: What was your most memorable Birthday growing up? I was 13 and my mom got a limo to pick me and my friends up from school and drive is to the mall. It was amazing and I was the talk of the school for a while after that.

2. How are you feeling?
Ok. Lots of sciatic pain, exhaustion, contracting... normal pregnancy stuff

3. Any appointments this week?
Thursday I have a routine appointment, Friday we are doing a 3D/4D u/s for fun. DH and DS will come and hopefully it will make it seem more real to DH especially. I know I've said it before, but I think not knowing the sex has been a little harder on us as far as imagining this baby in our lives. I'm sure moving and everything we have going on keeping us busy doesn't help either!

4. Rants/raves/questions?
I already put my rants in the appointments thread about a nurse that works at the hospital telling me unless they have the staff I won't be able to do skin to skin in the OR after my csection. When I finally meet my new doctor in a couple weeks I'll ask her.

5. What are you doing this week to prepare for baby’s arrival?
Well the garage is finally cleaned out well enough that DH can finish painting DS's bed he made and then start on his dresser hopefully this week. I think we'll also arrange the nursery furniture where it will stay (it's a pretty small room) and pick up the rocker/recliner we bought and put it in there. DS's clothes are currently in the dresser in the nursery because it used to be his so once DH is done building and painting the new dresser we can move stuff and start putting baby stuff in there! I might also start designing some signs so I can paint/stain them in the next few weeks.

6. GTKY: What was your most memorable Birthday growing up?
In grade school I was the only girl that was there from K-6. Some would come for 2-4 years or less and then move away so I never did anything too exciting. I finally had girlfriends in jr high and high school, but I'm not sure I ever did anything huge around my birthday. Birthday parties weren't a huge thing in our house I guess.
