Just found this post still sitting in the reply box for last week's thread. So pregnancy brain is clearly one of my symptoms . . . lol "I had a dream night before last that I started having painful contractions and went into labor. Pretty sure I woke up and was having some more painful than usual contractions. But after emptying my bladder, they would stop if I changed position but start back up if I changed back. All kind of blurry, but has me feeling like it really could happen at any point now. I've also had some diarrhea the past several days and a sudden uptick in energy. The extra energy is great, but I don't have a lot of nesting left to do so it's translating into me shopping for non-essentials. Woops, sorry DH!"
I was pretty miserable last week, but this week I actually feel good! The only real uncomfortable part is my pubic bone, which feels like it’s being ripped apart when I stand or roll over in bed - so, that’s not fun, but otherwise, things are ok!
DH keeps saying “today would be a good day to have a baby!” And I totally agree, I’m ready...I think! Ha!
In all serious though, i AM ready, but until he does come, I’m going to try and soak up my girls as much as possible. I think my older one and I will go get our nails done tomorrow, she definitely needs some mama-only time. My little one knows something is coming because she’s been extra clingy - she even woke up twice last night and just wanted to be held, and she never wakes up at night!
One week left. Even the third time, it’s totally surreal!
Been cramping all day and having some painful BH/contractions but they aren't consistent. Been on excerise ball most of the day and noticed I'm losing part of my mucus plug...not big chunks of it but it's been noticeable and it has no color. Hoping this means labor will be on its way soon. I'm feeling miserable at this point, no energy at all. 39 weeks. Anyone else feeling this way?
@lpq0309 Yup yup. Went to the chiropractor this afternoon and felt much better for hours after. My upper back still feels great but the painful contractions are back. It was totally worth those 5.5 hours of being pain free though.
@lpq0309 I’ve been feeling similarly for about a week. I hope yours progresses, but mine has just been stalling out. I was pretty hopeful this afternoon that things were gonna happen, but things definitely slowed again. This period of waiting is so hard and seems so long!!!
@MrsBigTime I've been up and down all night with painful contractions and I finally got out of bed to move to the couch to time them...and I haven't felt anything for 30 minutes.
Feeling completely exhausted at 4 days to due date...having a ton of BH/contraction like feelings (I think?) when I do just about any activity, thought yesterday was go time for awhile as they were measurable/every 10-15 mins for about an hour and a half but then...stopped. Feeling silly as a STM not really knowing what’s going on, but was induced hours after water broke last time and didn’t have any noticeable contractions until they really bumped up the pitocin. So not sure what I’m really looking for here! Dr. appt tomorrow so we’ll see what they think then!
Has anyone else just started re-cleaning everything? Woke up this morning and just starting cleaning, literally cleaned my whole house by 1.
I WISH this was me. I have no desire to clean a thing, so if anyone wants to come on over and do that for me... The only "nesting" thing I notice in myself is a desire to stockpile food (freezer meals, snacks for DS, etc.)--I am seriously considering another Trader Joe's run now.
knottie39015f9bb932cf30 I mean, I want to clean but get tired after standing a little while. The only thing I have a desire to really clean is sanitizing my pump parts and DD1's old toys to get them ready for baby#2.
@mrsman2018 it's crazy the day before I didn't even want to get out of bed. My husband thought I was going crazy this morning. But hopefully all this means is that baby girl is coming soon. Or at least means that I'll dilate. Due September 13th
@mrsman2018 - I've had a couple days where I've had them much more frequently and it's usually the day after I didn't drink "enough" water. Even if it seems like I drank a lot, anything under 80+oz for me seems to be low enough to cause a decent increase in BH the next day.

I was having a ton of BH but not so much the past week. Heartburn got bad again the past few days, making me vomit and keeping me up at night. Zero indication that he's planning his arrival. I'm fairly comfortable and hoping to be able to take DD to her first day of preschool on my due date so I'm cool with him hanging out a little longer.
Little man is clearly much lower this week, top of my stomach has gone soft and I'm having a hard time sitting on say a stool or a chair if I can't lean back because it feels like he gets smushed and start squirming! Almost painful at times! I wonder if he'll come early
Ok this heartburn/indigestion crap needs to stop. I took my daily meds twice today and vomited them up before they had time to get into my bloodstream both times. I think I only kept down a small portion of one attempted meal today and almost none of the water i drank. And now I'm awake with the depressing combination of more heartburn and cravings.
@Car0liiine I’m glad you got some pigging out done. I had several brownies for lunch. It really did not do wonders for my heartburn, but it did make me feel slightly better about still being pregnant
Lost my mucus plug this afternoon and I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. I know it doesn't mean much, but I never lost it with DS and I went to 41 weeks with him. So it makes me a bit excited!
I have been having some pretty intense back pain. Not just in my lower back, but seems like my entire back. Every once in awhile I will feel it come around to my belly, but mostly it's all in my back. Back labor?? Waiting on the next one to time in between

Maybe? But true labor contractions will definitely include your belly.
