Very tired. I am getting scaitica if I stand or walk a lot, but wearing tennis shoes seems to help. My left thigh has started randomly going numb at the end of the day, which scares me, because that was one of the first symptoms I had last time when I developed polyhydramnios.
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?
I had an amazing afternoon on Sunday, and I am still running on a high from it. I got a delicious caffeine free frozen coffee, a pedicure, and to take my time at Costco all by myself. It was wonderful!
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend?
I’m hoping to get to the pool a couple of times before they close for the year. Also, DH is planning to finish the attic insulation, fix the pantry, and put baseboards in the bathroom. Then, I can set up DS’s playroom and start to decorate for fall. It will feel so nice to have these ongoing projects done!
How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Varicose Veins (so attractive!)
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? My DD is apparently sleep training my husband and I for multiple wake ups during the night. Perhaps she’s getting us ready for a new baby? Ugh! I’m exhausted and I’m welcoming back 60+ teacher to school today (I’m the principal). Hopefully I can layer on some serious make up!
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend?
Hoping DH will finish the trim in our 2 1/2 year olds room and we can begin to buy furniture, decorate and hopefully move her out of the nursery before October. I don’t want her to feel like her baby sis is kicking her out so we’re trying to do it early. We’re getting carpet install today so that’ll be exciting to see!
How far along are you? How big is baby? 22w3d, Coconut or Papaya
How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Pretty good. No real new symptoms that I can think of.
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? Raves: DS started daycare yesterday. He was there for a little over an hour. Today he is there from 8:30-11 when my mom will pick him up. I got pictures from them yesterday on their app and he was smiling and playing. Not even ten minutes after he got there today they sent me a picture of him happily playing and a video. This is huge. I thought he'd have a really hard time adjusting because of separation anxiety and he is shy but it is going SO WELL! We will send him for his first full day on Thursday.
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend? DH and I are going to a picnic on Sunday and then to the Renaissance Festival on Monday. If we can't find a sitter, I'm not sure what we will do Monday but we will figure something out. I really don't feel like dealing with a two year old at a crowded and hot Renaissance Festival.
@Erinka I hope the first day back goes well. My best friend is a teach and their new principal had an ice cream truck come to the school and all the teachers got ice cream at the end of the day! That was so cool of her. Scooped iced cream, not one of those ones that drive around. lol

Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea
Treatment: Clomid: 50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored
How far along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks, baby is the size of a grapefruit.
How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Having trouble sleeping aside from pregnancy insomnia, just from being uncomfortable and having to get up and pee every hour. So exhaustion has set in again. Belly is starting to hurt when I walk and gets very tight when I’m overdoing it. Time to start slowing down!
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? One of my favorite restaurants stopped making my favorite dish and I swear it’s all I’ve been craving since I can’t actually eat it. Also I’m over this heat. Bring on the 50 and rainy days so I can cook again!
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend? Working; the unfortunate reality of being a hairstylist. It will be one of our busiest weekends of the year with teachers and kids both going back (though I’m not so secretly hoping for less kids).
Other than shortness of breath and RLP when I walk, I’m doing okay. The random puking last week appears to have been random and not a new problem. And the magnesium is helping with the leg cramps. They still feel tight, but no actual cramps.
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?
Rants: work is out of control and only getting worse. I’ll leave it at that.
Raves: I am enjoying a full week of no preschool drop off & pick up this week. The kid has camp in the mornings and is with MH in the afternoons. I gain 1.5-2 hrs a day. Amazing!
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend?
I think we’re laying low and relaxing, probably at least one day trip, a picnic in the park, and having some friends and family over on Labor Day so MH can show off his grilling skillz on the new grill.
@katy0990 It is SUCH a relief!! He has been doing so well. Yesterday was his first full day, he only cried when waking up from his nap and it took her a while to get him to calm down. We think he was just confused about where he was.
@Katzalia Did I already recommend eating bananas? lol I know some people don't like bananas but I usually eat one a day.
@misscheapandchic I hope you at least get some good tips while you're working!

More aches and pains now. My ankle pops if I’m not careful how I stand up (from sitting on the floor), sleeping on my side makes my back hurt, and I’ve been congested, but also I work in a preschool, so maybe I have a slight cold. I think I’ve also felt some round ligament pain- I’ll ask about it today. I’m pretty sure I felt Braxton Hicks once too.
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?
I have an u/s in an hour. I’m trying to decide how much coffee I can drink without having to pee again.
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend?
A friend will be in town Friday night. We might go get dinner or something, other than that it’s a regular weekend for us except I get an extra day off.
How far along are you? How big is baby? 22 wks, 2 days, coconut
How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Eh same ol. Still getting sick at night. Seriously last night I had it. I don't get how long this will go on for. It's always for me at bed time or middle of the night. I haven't even been able to take my prenatals
Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? Sad my next apt is 5 wks away. The lady at the front desk decided to push back my apt to do GD test the same day. Oct 1st seems so far away.
GTKY: Any plans for Labor Day weekend? One bbq other than that want to finish switching the boys rooms. So much more work than I thought since I can't move the crap myself which means it takes extra long waiting on my husband for when he is actually home. I haven't been on here much either. So beat during the week when my husband is gone plus school and sports started so it's a bit crazy round here!
@katy0990 Nothing better than alone time getting a pedi I did that last night when my husband got home before all the football drafts start
@Katzalia work crazy because people are back from vacations wanting to be seen again?
@misscheapandchic I guess im not the only one wondering how the hell im going to make it through the next 3 ish months. My stomach is so big and im already feeling yuck. I had someone ask me if I was almost due yesterday..clearly not but I'm huge.
@adorkablepixie pictures make it so much easier when sending your kids to daycare. We always did a home daycare for years until my older one was having speech issues. Two it was mainly for cost reasons but we never saw pictures ever. Now having had both kids as older toddlers in a center that sent pics I can't fathom going back to a home daycare again so this one will go to a center where I can at least watch her when I can't be there.
Erinka good luck with school! I'm sure the new year brings the crazy out of people and crazy parents.

March 6th our little man was born.
6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived
10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
@mcgeeva Thanks! So far so good! Plus people have to be nice to pregnant women no matter what, right! I thought that was the rule!?
@AdorkablePixie Love the ice cream truck idea! We’re in the PNW so I buy a coffee cart a few times a year so teachers can get a latte in the staff lounge. It’s very important to take care of your staff!
@Erinka I love that you mentioned being in the PNW as coffee cart reasoning it’s so true though. I didn’t realize we drink coffee way more than other parts of the country until a couple years ago. People ask why we are “obsessed” with it and I’m like: seasonal affective disorder? 14 days straight of rain? Cloudy sky 75% of the year? Lol. I do LOVE the rain, but I need a boost when it’s been a post apocalyptic gray outside for a full week.
@Erinka I think that is wonderful that you do nice things for your staff periodically. Happy teachers truly make for a better building and better atmosphere for the kids. I wish my principals had been that supportive!
@AdorkablePixie I know bananas are supposed to help but learned earlier this year I’m allergic and had to stop eating. At least the magnesium supplement works.
@mcgeeva that too! but mostly it’s crazy because we have two fulltime positions unfilled on my team, leaving just me (fulltime) and one very part-time colleague who is awesome but still, between us we can’t make up for the loss of two fulltime providers.
@Kazalia Oh no!! My oldest brother recently learned he’s allergic to peanut butter, but not allergic enough to kill him, so he just keeps eating it.. I’d probably stop but that’s just me. Lol
@Erinka That’s great. I wish my employer thought treating us right was important.
@mcgeeva Pictures really do make the whole thing easier. It helps put my mind at ease and makes me happy knowing he’s having a good time! October 1 does seem so far away, but it’s going to be here so fast. That reminds me I need to start thinking about Halloween costumes for DS!
