Accupuncture & IVF

I'm curious...has anyone ever done acupuncture during their IVF cycles? Did you feel like it helped? It's something I've been reading about and considering...but the research seems to be split on whether it actually improves your chances of success or not.
Me: 35, PCOS; DH: 38, MFI
TTC #1 since 2012
IVF #1: 9/2018, cancelled due to poor response
IVF #2: 2/19, 24 retrieved, 18 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 embryos; 1 beautiful embryo transferred 2/11/19: BFP!! EDD 10/30/19

    Honestly, I did fertility acupuncture during ivf and got pregnant, and i did fertility acupuncture during ivf and got a bfn. I I think it definitely does help with blood flow. I'm currently still doing acupuncture, but have had two failed fet. Disclaimer - The acupuncturist wants me to go every week, but at $85 per session, I can only go every other week. I up the sessions right before the transfer.

    I expect to do my first IVF cycle in October. I started electro acupuncture about 3 weeks ago. From what I can tell, it looks like there is some inconsistent support for benefit. I couldn't find any real negatives, which is why I figured it couldn't hurt. 

    I am 38 and have diminished ovarian reserve/premature menopause.  My periods have been irregular. I went 5 months earlier this year with no period at all.  I was constantly getting positive results on ovulation tests for almost a year, not understanding why until I found out I had high FSH about three months ago.  It didn't matter what time of day, or when in my cycle, or what brand of test, it was just always positive.  Just for "fun" I did a test earlier this week and it was actually definitively negative. I tested the next two days and both were also negative.  Then my period started yesterday.  I also had symptoms beforehand and that was unusual.  I had kind of dismissed the "signs" since I have kind of gotten used to not having my period.  This is the first time in nearly a year that I have had a period two months in a row.  Just a coincidence with acupuncture? I went into acupuncture thinking it probably wouldn't make a difference. Maybe it can?  I think it's worth a try. :)

    Also, I'm going 2x/week. Fortunately, this is something my insurance actually covers up to 20 sessions.  I am recommended 2x/week for now but eventually it will be less.

    I went two to three times a week for my fresh cycle and first FET and got nothing. At that point I decided to stop due to money. I was only paying $25 per session but to not get the results of a BFP. I can say it helped emotionally keep me balanced but other than that I can’t tell you that it got me pregnant bc I didn’t until after I stopped going.

    I tried a few sessions with my IUI but it stressed me out even more. Not sure if I didn’t have a good person or what but the needles made me super tense. I’ve heard great things so trying another clinic with my first IVF. The cost portion sucks @richmondtxmom mine also charges $80 per session!

    I’ve only had 1 cycle and did acupuncture for a few months before and then before and after the transfer and it was successful.  I don’t know if it was the acupuncture or not, but I know it didn’t hurt.

    I also did it (and moxabustion which she had me do at home) when I had a couple of SCH’s and they resolved within about a month.
