2nd dose of methotrexate- help

all- I had my first shot of methotrexate on Aug 3. My numbers went from 500 that day to 1200 last week and then yesterday they were still at 1200 so my doctor is doing another injection today. 
Will this work? I’m so sad and just want this to be over. How many of you ended up having to have surgery because the 2nd dose didn’t work?

    I'm sorry you are going through this.  It's a terrible feeling. I actually had 5 shots of mtx every other day paired with a pill.  My ectopic was in the corner of my uterus, an extremely dangerous place.  The ectopic resolved.  My numbers were way higher than yours though in the 20,000's.  Good luck.

    With low HCG I am sure you will be fine with only 2 doses. Good luck.
