the nausea has officially kicked in for me has anyone taken bonjesta and liked it? Any side effects? My doctor gave me a sample but I haven’t tried it yet.
My doctor gave me the same samples, and I haven’t tried them yet either. I know they aren’t covered by my insurance though.
last time I took Diclegis, which worked pretty well although it made me doubly exhausted. My ob said that the Bonjesta is the same as the diclegis only supposed to have less of the exhaustion side effect.
I have not, BUT I just tried sea band acupressure wrist bands for mama's. So far they are really working, if you wanted to give them a try, cvs, Walgreens, Amazon all have them. Good luck
Thanks! I just got some of those too, and I think they’re working. I just have a really low tolerance for nausea so I might need something stronger.. haha
My last pregnancy gave me a run for my money with the nausea. Sea bands, preggo pops, chewing ginger.... nothing worked. Broke down and took the diclegis and it was magical! Didn't notice any extra tiredness, but I was teaching 1st grade at the time so any extra exhaustion, I blamed that!
I've never taken meds for the nausea. I found relief with sipping on ginger tea and making sure to eat several small meals/snacks during the day the day. I have a bad habit of not eating so I get heartburn which makes the nausea worse
I just started Unisom and B6 last night (all that's actually in Diclegis, for done reason my pharmacy couldn't get it to fill the RX I have, so they showed us the OTC components ... It comes out cheaper anyway!). I am in love with them. I was sooo miserable for the past week, and today I feel good (so far, around dinner time I have been getting worse, but still, I'll take feeling good most of the day!). I also finally got a good night's sleep last night thanks to the Unisom, *bonus* :-).
I've also been getting acupressure (no needles thank you!!) Which has been a life saver with the nausea and getting back a bit of an appetite even just for a few hours.
