So I just recently found out I'm pregnant. I figured how far along I am according to my last period, however, my last period was a week earlier than usual and was way lighter than normal. I kind of wonder if it was implantation bleeding rather than an actual period. So far I've read that most people don't start showing till around week 12 and on but I'm not really sure how far along I am.
Based on calculating from my last peiod (the week early and light one) I should be around 6 weeks and 6 days.
But if I base it on the peiod before the light cycle I would be about 10 -11 weeks.
I guess I'm just wondering if perhaps I really am further along. So far based on my belly I can't really tell if I'm begining to bump or if I'm just fat lol. I have a doctor appointment in 2 weeks and by then I'll definately know based on measurements but I'd still kinda like to get others opinion ahead of time so I know where I am on the time line. Please let me know what you think. Did any of you show before 12 weeks with first pregnancy? Any tips/advice would help.
Re: Baby bump at 5-6 weeks?
2. It looks like to me you are arching your back more in the first picture (6 weeks) versus the second picture (5 weeks).
3. If you are 6 weeks, it's physically impossible to "show." It is bloat at it's finest.
4. If you are 12 weeks, it's still pretty early to show but more likely.
5. The only way you're going to know is at the appointment in two weeks. Good luck!
You're arching your back, and it's too early for a bump.
It's bloat, and posture.

FWIW, I totally get that it's frustrating to wait to find out when your baby is coming. My due date is somewhere within about a 1 week window thanks to wonky cycles, and I have to wait until September 4th for a dating ultrasound. That's a much smaller window than you're dealing with and it's still driving me bonkers not knowing, so I empathize, but nobody here will be able to guess within any reasonable degree of accuracy.
