Feeling good, sciatic nerve is giving me hell but that's nothing new at this point. I've been super tired again lately, so that sucks. And the cravings are getting stronger, which is hard with GD!!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

This question is inspired by my current weather lol. If I didn't have to work, today I'd be staying home and working on some sewing projects I have lined up, probably work on the crocheted afghan I'm making for my ILs. I wish it were just a bit colder so I could justify wearing a sweater, but even with the rain it'll be in the upper 70's today.

Feeling good, house buying/selling stress is lessening as we get closer to listing, which makes me less emotional, helps me sleep better, etc. I'm doing pretty well.

Fetal echo today and finishing up the measurements we didn't get for the A/S.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

Take a nap and read a book? It's rainy here today and I just wanted to snuggle in bed and read a book! I'm leaving work early for the echo so I'll probably get an afternoon nap in post appt!

How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms?

Generally I’m feeling good. Last night I had a weird sharp pain on my side while I was getting ready for bed. I got in bed as quick as I could and texted dh to come turn out the light for me. Lol sometimes I’m a big baby and I’m ok with it. Other than that, I feel like I’m slowing down a bit more but nothing major yet.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?

Well, diary, we have finally called the real estate agent to come look at the house and get paperwork signed. It probably won’t happen until week after next because of dh’s crazy work schedule, but still pretty exciting/scary. Fingers crossed!

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

@cecilb93 Our weather yesterday was exactly like yours today. I would have loved to lay in bed and read a book. But I had a doctor’s appointment and then had to entertain my mil for a while , plus taking care of a kid so it was just a regular day. I really like the rain and I’m glad I can see it out the window at home as opposed to my windowless hell at my old job.

@rosebud332 I'm technically next to a window at work, but still underground so really I'm looking out into a cement opening. If I lean over and look up though I can see the glass panes covering the open space, so I can kind of see the rain, lol.

How far along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks tomorrow, as big as a grapefruit. Which makes noooo sense to me — these sizes keep going down! Banana to endive to coconut to grapefruit? Unless they’re saying baby is as big as a grapefruit when balled up, because I’ve never seen a grapefruit with an 11-inch diameter. /rant

How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Good! I’m definitely sensing a pattern to Theda’s movements, which is cool. She likes to wake up in the evenings, right as I head to bed. It’s fun to watch my belly jump.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? It feels weird calling this baby by her name before she’s born, but I’m doing it with the intention of forming more of a bond with her before she’s born. I tend to feel detached from my pregnancies, I guess.

Also my kid is gaining cool skills like whoa! He’s so fun these days.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Sleep, or curl up with a book, blanket, and cup of tea. Also force snuggles on my son. I love the rain so much.

@PensiveCrayon I feel you on calling baby by a name already! It feels weird, especially since I still like other names better, but we've agreed on a name so it's not changing now (DH won't budge). I do try to say it some though so it grows on me more before he's here!

@PensiveCrayon We’ve been having issues imagining the weird sizes too - so now I say “baby is the same approximate volume as a ____” -or- just reference approximate height. Also - exciting that you’re using her name already! Can’t wait to meet Theda. (Off topic, I know a wonderful young man named Thaeden. Both great names

Feeling lazy - I blame the weather. Each day is either too hot or too rainy for me to feel motivated. BUT! Kiddo's movements changed to be higher and more obvious, that's neat. Also had some legitimate gas pains last night, that wasn't cool.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary?

Dear Diary, I am definitely looking pregnant when naked. Found a bump on the ol' upper inner thigh, and I am too big to see if it's a pimple or ingrown hair without a mirror. Haven't looked yet though, re: lazy. Also just realized that we are out of fruit, and dinner is like two hours away. Must. Snack. On. Something.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
I really enjoy just listening to the rain and doing quiet things - reading, writing. But since one of my big mean dogs is afraid of thunder I spend rainy days consoling my dog in the bed whilst playing Clash of Clans

He's a good boy.
