CD 18 and no big O. Getting discouraged.

I am on cycle day 18 and still have not had a positive ovulation test result yet. I had my skyla IUD removed in March 2018, started Apri birth control pills that same month, then finished my last pack on Monday, July 30th. My period ended on July 31st and I have checked daily since August 1st for ovulation with Clear Blue OPK. I have not seen a smiley face this whole time and I’m getting discouraged. At first, right after my period, I had hardly any CM, and wondered maybe if my cycle was trying to regulate after getting the IUD out and being on BC for 5 months? I feel like I’ve just kept waiting and waiting for ovulation symptoms, and not much has shown up. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I plan to keep testing daily with the OPK. Trying not to get my hopes up.

    I’m not gonna bother jumping in on this. Must be hard feeling discouraged.

    It can take several cycles to regulate after BC

    I guess no one knows until they start trying. Our first baby was not planned, so we have never purposely tried to make a baby before. This is harder than I expected.

    OP I encourage you to lurk more before posting. Some women here have been trying for months and even years. You are adding fuel to the fire by saying your first wasn’t even planned.

    1st Beta on 7dpt 93
    2nd Beta on 10dpt 510!

    TTC #1 since 2011. Tried for 5 years before we knew there was a one year rule.
    Diag w/MS 2016; w/PCOS & IF 2017
    New RE 2018; PCOS diagnosis taken away, IF due to ovary adhesions, but prev. RE insists PCOS IF

    IUI #1 July 2017 w/100mg Clo+trigger; BFN; benched w/big cysts
    IUI #2 October 2017 w/50mg Clo+trigger; BFN; benched w/big cysts
    IUI #3 February 2018 w/5mg Femara+trigger; low P
    BFP February; mc March; Subclinical hypothyroid started Levothyroxine 
    IUI #4 March 2018 w/7.5mg Femara+trigger; BFN
    Medicated cycle & TI April 2018 w/7.5mg Femara+trigger; BFN
    Tried several cycles on our own; all BFN
