If you are a contributing member with a BFP this week, please share your success with us here.
How do you know if you're a contributing member?
1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here. 2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy? 3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there? 4. Really, if you're a 1/1 or a 2/2, maybe just move on. Even if you have participated daily for one month and offered tons of support. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit. 5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful. -----------------------------------------------------------
This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but doesn't allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button or "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short & sweet notes.
Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests. We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions. This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!
When you see somebody who has possibly violated a guideline of this thread, please quote the section of these guidelines and include a callout to the poster, but keep snark to a minimum. If you have a post called out, please edit your offending post to add a note that you've been made aware of the rule and will keep it in mind in the future (if you are being asked to change wording due to unintentionally offensive phrasing, please remove that part of your post with a note of "EDIT: Removed offensive phrasing"). Remember: this thread is not a tribunal. Continued arguments and defenses about a post have no place here and are considered off-topic. If you would like to make an argument for or against a rule, please create or update a META thread to discuss.
CD/DPO of first BFP?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing?
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
wow what a turn of events! I recently posted in the benched/TTA board because I had missed AF, recieved many BFNs this cycle, and I was (what I thought) over a week post AF....wellll, yesterday I got 3 BFPs!!!! Im so excited!!! **some of this may be TMI but I hope if helps my fellow bumpies*** CD/DPO of first BFP? 36/22 -this is when I finally received a BFP, I would have tested earlier but I was certain AF was on the horizon and thought I had miss calculated my cycle (which I did). Prior to my BFP, i tested at 28/14 and received a BFN on a digital test. How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 5-4 What did your chart look like? I half-assed charted through my fitbit app and Ovia app. It looks like I actually ovulated around 07/21, not 07/17 like I thought. I also kept log of all my symptoms. What were you doing TGKU? BD, more BD, semi- charting. I was about to start temping if it didn't happen for me this month. How was your timing? pretty confident about this as I kept a journal and recorded all my shit -3, -2, 0 What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? So on 0 day/CD14, I had what felt like a sting or tingling in my left side ovary. CD16 I had an extreme headache, CD17-19 I basically had all my normal PMS symptoms such as headache, mild cramping and a zit here and there. CD 21 and 22 I had severe cramping at random times and my boobs were a tad sensitive, along with a raging headache.CD 23 was the worst, I literally felt sick with a horrible cold, I was so tired that day, had a raging headache and body aches all over, I never took my temp so Im not sure if I had a fever or not. The next day I woke up feeling fine! This is where it gets TMI.. CD 24-27 i had this extremely liquidy, clear CM. I literally had to wear a pantyliner it was sooo much fluid. I actually thought I peed myself at one point. It didn't stink or make my vaginal area itchy so I was pretty positive it wasn't a yeast infection. CD 30-35 my sex drive was insatiable! I literally wanted to have sex all the time! received my BFP, 3 times over CD36! How are you going to/did you tell your partner? He was there when I peed! Anything else to add? I would like to add I received several BFNs last month. My first was when I thought I was DPO9( I was really only 6), my second was DPO10 (I was really 7). My last was with a digital ( I regret not taking the FRER as I feel like it would have turned), I took a digital DC28/DPO14, came up BFN. I took a week off because I convinced myself I was not KU, and the symptoms were all in my head/PMS. after this experience, I truly believe you can show symptoms before turning a test. Always remember, its not over until AF shows her ugly face! I loved being apart of this board, you are some wonderful ladies, I will keep in touch! I would also like to add, my 2 previous pregnancies, i felt nauseous the day i missed AF, this pregnancy, the only symptom I have is fatigue and mild cramping so far.

Lurking - OP I think you should also edit this post with an apology, I realize that you did further in the thread but..... "Please only read if you feel comfortable, mentions symptoms and previous pregnancies" is a slap in the face to a lot of women here.
You should not have posted here in the first place.
I'm feel horrible, I'm sorry if I offending any of you lovely ladies. I didn't want to DD so I put my post in a spoiler, I hope this helps.
@alexand-3 We weren't offended because you mentioned symptoms or previous pregnancies. We were upset because you posted here after posting for a total of 23 times; you joined this board on July 26, which is only 2 1/2 weeks. We certainly don't begrudge you for getting a BFP but you posted this thread and then completely bypassed the line about maybe not posting if you've only been on for a month.

It's also hurtful because there are people on here who have been trying for years and you posting to say "I half-assed my chart and don't even know when I ovulated but surprise, pregnant!" doesn't really make us feel warm and fuzzy inside.
And FYI waiting for AF =/= benched.

@coco2787, thank you! I know I got unbenched, but the benched/TTA thread seemed to have lost it's mesning this week and I just couldn't. But I didn't know if I was just sensitive.
And I have been contemplating if I by some crazy chance get a bFP soon, how many months of trying before it is appropriate for me to post in this thread.
@holly321 You’ve been a regular on this board for a long time and if you got a BFP your first cycle off the bench we would celebrate the hell out of it with you!

@holly321 I'd probably go with this rule. "Really, if you're a 1/1 or a 2/2, maybe just move on." I know you've been a supportive member for a very long time, but I believe this would still be appropriate. ETA: I defer to @lulu1180
Lol @marebear15 This is kind of the exception to the rule, if someone is a contributing member but not TTC they’ve still formed friendships and given support. Not to mention, technically she wouldn’t be a 1/1, as she was benched for a looooooonnnnggg time

@holly321 You have been a very active/supportive member of this board, and you have been through a crazy amount of crap. As an active TTCAL member idt 1/1,2/2 rule applies to you. I personally would be a bit miffed if you didn’t post here because I don’t stalk BMBs for my own sanity.
@holly321 thirding @lulu1180 and @kindbytealikat you've been a tremendous support to all of us in TTCAL and the board as a whole. I'd be so thrilled to hear about your success.
