Eh. I think her season with Arie completely effected her decision. Arie telling her she was the “safe” choice when he should have followed his gut and taken the risk on Lauren had to have made her rethink her decision.
I think Blake was a better fit for her. Heck, she admitted she thought it’d be him at the end the entire time. And then all of a sudden, she says she let their relationship blind her to other guys? I think she didn’t want the “safeness” of Blake even though they were obviously crazy about each other and better partners.
I don't think Garrett is as good of a match for her. Yes, they laugh a lot and that’s important, but I feel like she wears the pants in that relationship and they aren’t really partners.
Totally agree with the above! Becca and Garrett are not going to work in real life at all.
This season son made me realize how incredibly boring Arie and a lot of the girls in his season were that Becca seemed cool and interesting, she was a total bore all season.
Anyone watch Paradise last night? Looks like they’ll be some fun hookups and good drama!
I didn't like Becca as the Bachelorette to start with - I thought she was a snooze. But out of the final two, she chose the right guy. Blake was a loose cannon and got way too emotional; he would be a jealous partner. Not that I was in love with Garrett either, I would have chosen Jason. I don't think they will last. The best couple ever is Sean and Catherine. Now bring on Bachelor in Paradise!
I do have to say, I don’t think I have ever seen someone that giddy on ATFR as she was. I do think she took more of a risk but she has said from day 1 that Garrett reminds her of her dad which is clearly very important to her, and I also don’t think you can fake the happiness she showed on the after show.
I do like the format they used better. I like that they showed the break up with Blake and then talked with Blake and then Becca. Only to then show the proposal and Garrett and Becca. It was a better flow.
I agree they seemed super happy, but I still don’t think it’s going to last at all. The Instagram fiasco (that Garrett has a history of “liking” racist, misogynist, and other hate-related posts, including one claiming the teenage Parkland shooting survivors were crisis actors hired by liberals) is just one piece of it. I think Becca wants an equal life partner, and Garett just wants someone to be a wife and mother. As soon as real life hits they’re going to realize they’re not compatible!
And speaking of controversy, the long-haired guy from this season will be on Paradise, and HE apparently has a history of sending unsolicited dick pics to women, but claims it wasn’t harassment because they never told him not to do it?! Has anyone else read this? He seems totally oblivious to why it’s offensive and inappropriate.
@MandyMost I did not hear about that, but that guy always gave me the creeps for some reason. I'm glad(?) to hear that my creep radar isn't totally broken.
Now that the Bachelorette is over, we can talk about BIL! I am just not a big Colton fan. And where do they go that there are so many crabs? That would freak me out. And bring back Scallop Fingers. ahaha
