Today is my day off and I'm supposed to be baking and getting cupcakes ready for my nephew's party tomorrow... instead, I've spent an hour on Pinterest and just got around to making breakfast . Lazy days for the win!
I don't wash my bras anywhere near as much as I probably should. Or any of my clothes really. I can't bear to wash a shirt I wore for a couple of hours and isn't dirty.

LOL I currently have one bra that doesn't have wires poking me AND fits and I wash it once a week. I looked down yesterday and was like well eff. This one will probably stop fitting soon too.
@mermaidca, I wash my jeans and my regular bras like once a month... If that... DH, on the other hand, wears a shirt for an hour and it's magically dirty and needs to go in the laundry . And guess who does laundry in the household... :P.
@MRDCle, just live in sports bras! It's what I do, haha. So much comfier, plus it's what I wear for work anyway so less changing needed .
For work yesterday, I brought with lunch and 3 snacks to get me through the day. I ate everything in my lunch box by 1pm because I was so hungry! I brought more food with today to work.
@luckywife10 I totally have the exact same issue. I already had lunch but somebody put some free food in the break room from a meeting and I totally snagged a plate for this afternoon.
@luckywife10 and @gollygeeitsamy, I'm always hungry and looking for snacks normally, so I'm legitimately worried about eating enough once this poppyseed really starts growing! Any tips on good snack foods to take to work? I don't get a break to sit down and eat, so usually I take granola bars or protein bars, but then I'm starving by the time I get home. The struggle, haha.
@kangstadt when baby starts to get big you pretty much can only have small meals throughout the day so you'll definitely be snacking. I find tmeals that have a good amount of protein and good fats help me feel better/fuller longer and not so hungry and drinking lots of water (and then taking lots of potty breaks, oh well). You can try string cheese, nuts, carrot sticks with hummus, yogurt, boiled eggs, peanut butter crackers, and berries as basic snacks that are easy to pack and have on hand in lunch box.
Here's another one. I'm working from home today because my kids got sick yesterday and were sent home from dayhome. One of my really big tasks today fell through and I was told just to deal with it when I get back (also took all next week off - preplanned but as a brand new employee I'm doing terrible hahaha) and I'm really hoping my other big task gets pushed back as well....

I'm laying down instead of walking the dog. Also probably going to talk the husband into frozen pizza instead of going out. This exhaustion goes away, right?!
We don't have money to buy my MIL a present for her birthday on Sunday, so we are going to tell her we are pregnant as her "gift" lol that will distract her from the lack of gift right??
I mean you can definitely flame me for this because I flame me? But I cannot stop peeing on sticks. I’ve probably used 12 since Wednesday. When will it be real enough to STOP? I don’t think I can afford to keep this up till a first appointment.
With my first we weren’t trying so I 1) didn’t test early and 2) got in to the doctor really quick so this is all new.
@MRDCle, all of that! Oh my gosh, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I have the cheapie sticks so I went ahead and tested this morning again. I've never had a miscarriage or anything, so I'm not sure why I'm so paranoid but I am. By the time I knew I was pregnant with my first, it was basically 8 weeks anyway so we went in for an appointment and saw the little blob on the ultrasound. That's when it was real for me. I'm so impatient to get to the first appointment for this one!
Also, I've told my three best friends and MH has banned me from telling anyone else, haha.
@MRDCle I did the same thing but I kept getting mixed answers on mine. My cheapie still say negative (I think they are faulty) and I have a frer, a walgreens one and a digi that are all positive. Plus at this point I've way passed my af due date and I'm already feeling the preggo.
I've told my best friend and my parents but no one wants to celebrate yet because we mc'd in may with my first pregnancy. So...I feel like no ones happy or excited other than me. DH is holding off considering it true too. It's sad how mcs do that to people. I'm glad I'm hopeful tho, I guess I'm the only one that matters currently, lol I'm the one supporting it
@MRDCle haha same! I pee on probably 3 sticks a day. Not sure why my old account popped up on my introduction ( whiterabbit646) but I’m still in absolute shock that this happened so I keep NEEDING to see the positive test until I see an ultrasound. Thank goodness I bought in bulk because I thought it was going to take awhile
It is no longer Friday, but this is a flame-free post (right???) so I'm gonna roll with it. Part of the reason I want to tell the world that I'm pregnant is because I want a little preferential treatment and recognition that I feel yucky. Right now no one knows, so no one cares that there aren't enough chairs for me to also sit or that I missed my snack and need to eat NOW before I get nauseous.

I felt that way earlier in the week when I missed work breakfast because of a meeting. When it started to run late I wanted to be like OK CAN WE WRAP THIS UP I NEED TO EAT.
@loveanddatadriven, YES. Oh my gosh. I just want to tell my boss so he'll realize I'm not being an emotional less-enthusiastic employee on *purpose* exactly...
Also, I know it's not quite Friday yet, but my confession is that I totally went to a local carnival with my DH and kiddo and ate French fries instead of working out after work tonight. Oops.
