Thankful to be working from home today. Thankful to be sharing the baby news with the second set of parents tonight (due to divorce and remarriage, we have 3 sets total to tell and we opted to tell them all separately and in-person). As with the first set of parents we told, this will be their first grandchild so it's big news!
Thankful to have found a well-paying job in my field that is primarily remote to apply for! Travel is required up to 4x a year, but I hope it won't be a big issue early on, if I'm lucky enough to get hired.
i am very thankful that my morning sickness is down today and i was able to enjoy my first salad in WEEKS! never thought i would miss greenery that much LOL.
Thankful for babysitters! Husband is gone 10 days for a fishing trip in Canada. I've literally hired sitter Tues and today so i could rest upstairs. He's back Sunday but I'm considering one for Saturday daytime too....
Beyond thankful to get to hear two little heartbeats on ultrasound today! ❤️ Also, thankful to get to spend the evening with family at the county fair!!
@chocolatelemons - I’m a health sciences librarian. The position is at a online school. Assuming the travel is for team building, quarterly checks, etc, which wouldn’t be too bad. Glad I found/applied now before it’s super obvious I’m pregnant!
Thankful that my husband is finally starting to help around the house a lot more. That alone makes pregnancy so nice! Also, thankful for all of my work family being so sweet and being able to work less if needed after baby, even if I wanted to come in twice a week just to get out of the house.
