Late ovulation

Has anyone here experienced late ovulation? My cycles have consistently been 28 days. Last month was the first month I tracked ovulation and got a positive OPK on day 21. I got my period 8 days later.  Is it possible to get pregnant ovulating that late? This is our first month of trying. I am on day 14 and no positive OPK yet.

    Yes, it is possible to get pregnant with late ovulation. Tracking is key with long cycles. You could have an issue with a short LP though, tracking more cycles will give you better insight on that. You might want to add temping in too, because it is possible to have multiple surges in a cycle that OPKs will pick up.
