I went to leave my house last night and some idiot in a jacked up truck was parked in front of my driveway and right in the middle, so I couldn’t get out. We don’t have a small driveway either, it’s like 4 cars wide, and he still managed to park in the middle. Not to mention we live in a newer area, so there is an open field right beside us where he could of parked or across the street along the curb that had room for like 6 cars. I figured he was visiting my neighbors (we live on a corner lot so only have one neighbor) and knocked on the door to get him to move. He then had the nerve to tell me he’d only be fifteen minutes and then he’d be gone. My neighbor, clearly seeing that I was pissed, offered to move it for him so I could get out. Not going to lie, I considered just backing into him and then going over and saying oops, but didn’t want to wreck my car.
DH and I are seriously considering moving next summer. He is a teacher and has already spoken with his principal regarding this fact. DH teaches an AP class, so he wanted to go ahead and let the principal know so he can be looking for his replacement.
Moving is not something we’ve discussed with anyone but our parents, since we’re not sure what our plans are. During the staff-wide meeting today at DH’s school, his principal said, “If you are planning on not being here for the next school year, please let me know ASAP, and don’t wait until July 30th when we’ll be scrambling to fill your spot. It would be great if you could be like [DH] and tell me and year and a half in advance.”
WTF.

DH and I just finished painting DD1's wall which was tedious AF to do because it was mermaid scales. I thought we took all the paint out but he left a pint of purple on her desk. She slammed her desk today while leaning back in her chair and knocked the entire pint of purple on the floor... Ugh, purple paint all over brand new carpet, no fun.
My back is killing me today, and I'm solo parenting tonight. I have a huge knot on the one side and some spasming pains on the other. I just want to lie on ice and not chase a toddler around. If anyone has suggestions for entertaining a 15 month old without standing up, I'm all ears.

I went to make an appointment for DS because he fell the other day and is still walking just a bit funny on his leg. Turns out his doctor no longer accepts our insurance. We got no notification no letter in the mail or anything. Like really? So annoying
My husband is a head football coach and we did his clothing orders for the team. everything was going great. They come in and like 3 kids stuff doesn't fit. The company won't do anything because it's custom. The parents have to buy another set of game day attire and it's just a mess. It appears the clothes fit smaller this year than they did when they did their team order last year, which is not entirely unusual because this brand likes to change crap up.

@baileym9126 I would have called the police but maybe because I'm a raging betch lately. Someone did that to me when we lived in our old townhouse and I couldn't figure out where the jerkface was.
The biggest annoyance of my job is when I give a check number and say when I mailed payment, and the vendor writes back and says "why isn't it in our mail box?"..... the next day. I always have to stop myself from saying "I don't work for GD post office. How about you ask them?!!!!!!!!!"
This guy legit asked me why the check I mailed Monday wasn't in his mail box last night. I didn't realize the post office had that quick of a turn around.
@oaklandava My H is a coach too. The coaches just got all of their practice/game day clothes, and DH's are huge on him. Same size, same brand as last year. So annoying.

AliKay20 best caption ever! my mom sent me a pic of a banana slug from their camping trip the other day. I told her it looked like a scary alien penis, thinking she would say "oh no, honey" and she just replied "Yes!!!"
