1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 11 weeks 2 days. Like 1.5-2 inches.
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Pretty good. Stressed out, but not super anxious about the pregnancy anymore
3. Any appointment updates? I'll be getting genetic testing back any day!
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? Waiting for test results is torture.
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? Harry Potter hands down. I've read the entire series many times - I think I'm at 62 times for books 1-4 - I haven't read 5-7 as much. I've also read the first 4 books in Spanish and the 6th book in Norwegian.
1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 11w5d. According to the Bump app, either the size of a marble or the size of a bowling ball. (I kid). Probably the size of a fig?
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Tired, but not as nauseated which is nice. Annoyed at everyone.
3. Any appointment updates? Nope.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? I am hungry all the time and it sucks.
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? I don't usually re-read books, but I have read every Jane Austen book multiple times. Emma is my favorite by far.
1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 11 weeks today!
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Ok. Symptoms are slowly fading I think, but it’s still early enough that they might return. Not taking my emergency puke bag out of my purse anytime soon. Mentally I’m fine, but I’m sure I’ll get increasingly nervous in the days leading up to my next US.
3. Any appointment updates? Waiting for my NT US and blood draw in exactly one week!
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? I just cleaned out the work fridge. More ranting about that in the random thread.
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? Not really, there are too many books out there I haven’t read yet! I used to re-read as a teen, especially while I was learning English. Re-reading a book in the language you’re learning is excellent practice. Pretty sure I read LoTR a couple times.

11w 3d bump says something about a ketchup packet... Who knows.
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically?
I'm all over the place. Can't tell if I'm a raving b*tch due to work stress or hormones.
3. Any appointment updates?
I go for NT Scan and NIPT on August 12
4. Rants/Raves/Questions?
Can I just stop being a b*tch? Even I can't stand myself. I need to be quarantined...at a beach.
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most?
I love rereading books. I reread Harry Potter series annually. I've read Jane Eyre every year since 8th grade. Books are old friends that don't care if your hormones are making you unfit to be around others.
“My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being normal is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage." - Aunt Frances”
1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 12w4d, a little over 2 inches (the Bump says the size of a plum OR a sugar packet, which are vastly different sizes in my experience?)
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Physically, I'm still pretty exhausted and constipated but otherwise my nausea is better. Mentally, I was feeling much better until I had some really light spotting on Monday and now I'm an anxious mess again. Le sigh.
3. Any appointment updates? Had an US Monday to check the spotting - everything looks good and it's likely my super sensitive cervix. NT scan tomorrow and waiting for NIPT results.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? Can I just poop like a normal person, please? Are hemorrhoids even normal at this stage?
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? Like @hannahbananas11 I'm a lover of all things Jane Austen and have probably re-read Pride & Prejudice about 100 times since high school.
@cassafrass15 - hemis are part of pregnancy I never expected to be so bad. It’s horrific. My vagina is fine after two kids (sex is actually better). My asshole? Destroyed.
1. 10w today. Baby is the size of a Lego minifigure. 2. Feeling ok. Nausea seems managed w/ Diclegis/ Reglan. Starting to feel some pulling at my c/s scar. 3. Had an appt on Tuesday. Baby looked good on u/s (couldn’t pick up HB on the Doppler but not shocked by this). OB mentioned in my post op notes from last c/s (2015) that the attending OB noted that my uterus was “thin”. OB didn’t seem too concerned but said to be aware of any pain and have my pain tolerance be “low”. So then of course I Google’d and throughly freaked myself out with all sorts of posts about uterin rupture. I guess I have more questions to ask at my appt in 4w. Ugh. 4. Rave: the King bed DH & I are sleeping in on vacation. Imma need one of these when I get home husband, ok? Thx! 5. I’ve re-read in the past but not often.
1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 10 weeks a small strawberry, a guitar pick... who knows.
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? this weeks panic is that I don't have any pulling/stretching or whatever. Still getting nausea and boobs are effing massive. But I still can't believe my heart isn't going to be broken in 2 weeks when I have my scan, I really want it to be okay but my anxiety is sky high at the moment.
3. Any appointment updates? the countdown is on for scan in 2 weeks
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? on holiday atm, went to hobbiton and now hanging out in rotorua for a few days which has been nice.
Bag End for any fellow Tolkien nerds
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? currently reading harry potter, I have lost count of the times. Also Jayne Eyre, most Austen (I have trouble with Emma) and Tolkien.
@lokibear89 it’s normal for the pulling/stretching to come and go. I can go weeks without it and just had a check up and baby is fine. I know it’s hard not to worry though.
1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 14 today, peach
2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? I’m feeling a lot better now that my nausea is pretty much gone. Still tired though but I’ll take that over nausea any day. Mentally I’m doing pretty well too. Feeling flutters here and there so that is reassuring.
3. Any appointment updates? None till end of the month.
4. Rants/Raves/Questions? At my last appt they said if I didn’t go into labor by my EDD I would have to get a c section (i’m going for a vbac) I don’t get how the estimated due date is always the end all be all with doctors when it is just an estimate. So annoying.
5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? I don’t re-read books because there are too many books out there I want to read.
1. How many weeks are you, and how big is baby? 11 weeks - as big as a lime? 2. How are you feeling? Mentally and physically? Feeling a lot better physically, but still very tired. Had my first US almost 2 weeks ago and baby looked good, but I am still nervous and steeling myself for heartbreak again 3. Any appointment updates? I have an appointment on August 7th where we are going to discuss genetic testing, I definitely want to do it but it depends on how much everything costs.. 4. Rants/Raves/Questions? DH and I have been babysitting my brother's kids (5 months and 3 years old) for the past 8 days and I am WRECKED. Love the kiddos but cannot wait to get home!! 5. GTKY: Do you re-read books? If so, which book have you re-read the most? Love books, I used to re-read more, but since reading is so much a part of my job (I'm a prof) it is hard to read to relax anymore during the school year, and I mostly read junk detective novels when on vacation. I love Tana French (she's not junk, actually) and the Amelia Peabody books
