  • @harrierwife I am the most restless sleeper but I've always had luck with getting consistent temps. Glad you still had some consistency!
  • I'll come out and play today.

    Month/Cycle: 17/16

    CD: 1

    WAYDTGKU: Clomid this cycle

R/R: I'm playing hooky from work today. My cramps were really bad last night and this morning and I knew I would be a bundle of emotions. So I said F it and stayed home. Surprisingly tho I'm feeling rather emotionless. I started spotting over the weekend so I knew AF was coming. I had a very similar day yesterday to what @prpl11butterfly described. Not sure if I should call this CD1 or 2. I normally wouldn't care but since I'm taking clomid I think I'll message the doc about it.
I finally got my preconception genetic screening test results. Out of over 200 diseases I'm only a carrier for 2. One was a common hearing loss but the other was something more significant (Zellweger syndrome). So now MH has to go get tested too. If he's also a carrier then we have a 25% chance of having a child with this disease. The chances of him being a carrier is only 0.7% so I'm not too worried... but of course I'm freaking out inside.

  • @harrierwife Your chart looks beautiful. FX this is your cycle! Your chart has encouraged me to start temping again.
@prpl11butterfly I'm so sorry to see you over here too. Getting past that year mark was definitely the hardest for me too. Everything triggered me. Do something special for yourself today. *Hugs lady*

  • @harrierwife Hope you sleep better tonight. FX this is your (and all of ours!) month.
@prpl11butterfly and @LJMoon6 Sorry to see you ladies over here :(
@kiki047 Ugh, I can only imagine the frustration! Hope the doctor has something for you. Hope everything goes smoothly on the condo - very exciting!

    Month/Cycle: 3/3
    CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Netflix & Chill (right @harrierwife :D) when hubs gets home from OOT, starting OPKs on CD12 since my cycles are so dang irregular.
R/R: I have a looong day today. Work then giving a talk at a local place until late, then the drive home. Was supposed to be off tomorrow AM (could sleep in) but coworker has asked that I potentially come in for her since her kid is sick. Sigh. I feel tired already!
    CS/Q: None yet.

  • @ljmoon6 - I actually almost bought a new BBT because I thought it was broken.  :D

Everyone needs a mental health day. Hopefully you can do something super indulgent like read a book with your feet propped up, take a hot bath, or binge watch stupid TV? FX that YH isn't a carrier.

@kiki047 - I take turmeric capsules (because well, what's one more?), but I also try to incorporate it into my food. I like sprinkling it into my scrambled eggs (my usual breakfast) when I remember.

FX you get some clarity on Thursday. And congrats on selling the condo! That's gotta feel great!

@Swiftlet - Yes, FX for everyone.......

  • Hey all! I’ve been hiding out and feeling sorry for myself the last couple days, but I’m ready to venture out again.

    Month/Cycle: 5/5 (month 6 starts tomorrow :disappointed: )

    CD: 4

WAYDTGKU: WFAF to leave, PNV/OPK/BBT, blah blah blah

R/R: My condo hasn’t sold (HOA fees are too high), work sucks lately, and we are broke from all the renovations. Buuuut, I will be on vacation for two weeks starting Friday!!! and I’m really hoping that vacation during FW will get it done this cycle. At the very least, it will be nice to spend time with BF and relax.

    CS/Q: no chart yet.
  • @harrierwife  those temps sure do look pretty! FX this is the one for you.

@LJMoon6 ugh CD1 sucks! I’m glad you were able to take the day for yourself.

@kiki047 Yay for selling your condo! I’m so happy it went quickly. Now come on ovaries!

@prpl11butterfly more muffins may be needed. I really hoped AF wouldn’t show for you.

@Swiftlet I do not like to give up my day off. You are a nice co-worker.
  • @swiftlet you are a very nice coworker. Hope you survived your long day!
@harrierwife srsly tho, I sometimes take my pills with lunch and people stare at me when I dump like 7-9 pills on the counter. Good idea adding to eggs - I’m doing some meal prep tonight for the rest of the week, going to try that!
@TJtheGoat *hugs* sorry to see you back here. Yay for your upcoming time off though. C’monnn FW! Any plans for your vacation weeks?

  • Month/Cycle: 18/hopefully 1st unbenched cycle

CD:  2 I think, will discuss in questions.

WAYDTGKU: I go to the doctor tomorrow, and may possibly be cleared to conceive, if so, will get my IUD out ASAP, I am still trying to decide if I plan to temp, but I know I will because I am neurotic. Otherwise, just sex and opks.

R/R:  I am pretty sure I have food poisoning from crabs we had last night, I have been miserable.  But, I literally had nothing to do at work all day, so I stuck it out and got paid to scan invoices in all day, with a little bit of time spebt teaching someone else to do any least favorite aspect of my job( returns)

CS/Q:  I got an iud when I was benched again, so as not to be tempted to cheat and ttc, lol . I have noticed that I spot a few days before AF with it (which I never have done before ). What do you consider CD1?

@harrierwife, I am like @prpl11butterfly, my temps are pretty accurate even with crappy sleep, as long as I am not getting up and around.

@LJMoon6, I hope your Dh's genetic screening comes back well, I can imagine how stressful that is, especially since I am too chicken to go for genetic testing.
@TJtheGoat, I hope you enjoy your vacation, anything fun planned?
  • @kiki047 Rooting for you at your appointment on Tuesday! My inbox is open to you if you need it. I hope you will get the answers that you need and that there will be an easy plan so you can move forward and ovulate regularly. Hugs to you dear <3
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

  • @LJMoon6 sorry for resurrecting but I was super busy and didn't make it over here on Tuesday. I am a carrier for cystic fibrosis and for the 2 weeks it took for DH to get to the lab during hours they were open, have the results processed, etc., I was (probably) irrationally freaking out. He tested negative for CF (1 in 18 chance, so higher than your odds). My sister actually just found out today that she's a carrier as well but no baby plans for her anytime soon. It's just great to know.
