PGAL Check-in w/o 7/25

Hola chicas! Almost halfway through another week! Hope yours are going swimmingly!

Welcome to the PGAL (Pregnant after loss) weekly thread!

**This is a general trigger warning that CP, miscarriage/spontaneous abortion, selective abortion due to medical complications, and/or stillbirth may be mentioned. There is no need to add specific trigger warnings in your posts, but you may if you choose.**

1. How far along are you? Any milestones?

2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?

3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?

4. Any appointment updates?

5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):

6. GTKY: If you won the lottery and didn't HAVE to work, would you anyway? What would you do?

  • @artemis618 A HS classmate of mine is in a similar situation to your friend. It certainly is scary to hear about the scary things that can come out of the a/s. Thank God we have access to modern medicine and technology!

@morgantu  I wouldn’t worry too much about baby’s size.  I had lots of extra monitoring when I was pregnant with DS, and we were consistently told that baby was going to be over 10 pounds nd he came out 4 days late weighing 8 lbs 2 oz. The fluid can really skew the measurements.
  • @rosebud332 Yes, I can't believe how this one is flying by! I'm not nearly as "on it" as I was last time, but I'm also like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
  • @texas_t Your post made me do a double take because my DH is an Owen :p  My Owen’s conceded he’ll learn this baby’s gender next week so we can finally start talking about names.  Good luck with your MIL’s visit!  That’s a serious amount of time.

  • @artemis618 The consolation is that she cleans like a mofo, so I won't have to do a load of laundry or dishes for those 2 1/2 weeks.  PRAISE!  Good luck on names!

  • @echo-charlietango I was lamenting over donating things, too, but then I checked my mail and I had a donation pick up scheduled to be by my house this Friday.  I almost cried tears of joy.  And, yeah, my MIL def knows how to grind my gears, so I will be on a short fuse by the end of her stay, lol.

  • @echo-charlietango I actually eat frosted mini wheats for breakfast most days! I used to always eat eggs but haven't in months because baby gags at the thought of them. lol
  • @mommythlegend My baby also hates eggs. I really want some deviled eggs, but I’m not sure I could handle the smell of them boiling.
  • @katy0990 I got Dash egg cooker on Prime Day and it's been great! I haven't thought about it, but I don't think I've noticed that usual yucky smell.
