I’m thankful the wet sensation I felt running down my legs and liquid I saw dripping from my bag while on metro this morning was my water bottle somehow coming unscrewed and leaking all over the contents of my laptop bag and not my water breaking. Oy vey.
I'm thankful that my weekend may have opened up. I'm supposed to meet my friend halfway between Detroit/Chicago to get the glider, but she may have to cancel (her MIL is in the hospital). While unfortunate, and I don't know when we are going to meet now...I'm going to cherish the plan free weekend since August is packed.
Thankful that DD and I are back from our road trip and I got to sleep in my own bed last night! It was so much fun and I’m so glad we got to see my family but I’m exhausted. DD was a bundle of energy all week from being cooped up in the car for the 11 hour drive.
Now I finally have time to catch up on here. I missed you ladies!!
Thankful it is Thursday and I only have 4 days of this festival to go before a mini break/different schedule. Also thankful it feels like baby has shifted head down (?) instead of hammock style. I will hopefully confirm on Monday at my appointment.
Thankful to have hit the third trimester today and while I have a head cold and I'm exhausted, I'm much better off health wise at this point than in my pregnancy with DS. Also only 11 weeks left!
@knottieamusements That is an awesome update and definitely something to be thankful for!!
AFM, DH and I are babymooning today through Sunday! It’s so nice having a few days away just the two of us before we are the three of us! The majority of our past getaways have been with friends or family, and although we are seeing some friends this weekend, it’s nice to have a few days just us.
DH and his brother are taking the kids to the carnival on Saturday (I’m not going, since I’m supposed to be taking it easy), so DH booked me a mani/pedi during that afternoon. I’m so looking forward to it, my feet are a mess!
That sure is something to be thankful for @knottieamusements So happy for you both!! Hopefully when you get home your living room with still be painted the same color
@ladyofarlington - my living room is the same color, but my Mom has been having fun in the rest of my house. I came home to a new bedroom straight out of Better Homes and Gardens. (FWIW - I had planned to change bedrooms as part of setting up the nursery, and I knew she was working on it.)
I'm thankful this morning DH offered to do daycare drop off and told me to go to Starbucks. I'm also thankful that all of my stress and worries are stupid first world problems. I need to be more thankful and positive.
So thankful for DH right now. He is taking on a lot on his own to get our house baby-ready, and if he wasn't able/willing to do it, it would cost us so much money to hire outside help. He's pretty much put all his free time into this, and just being the best.

I'm thankful to have nothing planned this weekend and that DH surprised me last night with a Shark robot vacuum, can't wait to get that baby set up!
I'm thankful that tomorrow is the last day of summer school and then I'll have 3.5 weeks off before the fall semester starts!
So happy for you both!! Hopefully when you get home your living room with still be painted the same color
