  • I was just complaining about this today! I told my DH today that I’m pretty sure morning sickness feels like a hangover so you have absolutely no urge to drink lol.
  • The dry heaves every morning continue, but not having much nausea through the day anymore. Starting to get a little more moody/crabby (DH isn't sure what to do with me right now, lol). But mostly-  So. Freaking. Bloated  :s
  • I feel so hungover every morning which is crazy, because I’ve never downed this much water in my life.
The bloat tonight, I looked 20 weeks pregnant. I showed my blump to DH and I’m not sure he knew how he should react!!

  • Felt really sick for the first time this morning with some dry heaving. Ginger mints from Trader Joe's helped, luckily. I gag every time I take prenatals and I have been waking up to pee at least once a night every night, if not more. Still tired and bloated all the time. Yay for baby growing.

I'm also super whiney about it.

I’ve also turned nocturnal. All day I just want sleep and I feel horrible. 9 pm rolls around and all my symptoms lift and I feel great but then I can’t sleep becuase I’m charged full of energy. This is not going to be good if it continues when school starts.

I think the heat is somewhat to blame.
  • Definitely feel like I have a all day hangover. Dry heaving in the morning, no vomiting (yet). Usually I feel better in a few hours and can have a normal day. But by bedtime I feel not very good again
  • @jlavo888 I’ve been swinging between exhausted and high energy too, but luckily I’m exhausted in the early morning and late evening. But when 2pm rolls around I want to do all the things, which I think my DD appreciates. I’ve been working on my gardening project.

  • This weekend was rough for me I had a migraine which led to back pain and knee pain and freaked me out a little bit feeling a little bit better this morning and I'm going to try to stick to a 3-hour eating schedule and stretching throughout the day. Hoping for an easy healthy week for all of us  <3<3
  • I am up and raring to go at 6:30.
    By 2:30 I'm wanting a nap.

and by 7:30 I'm just done.

So overly tired and I do have nausea, which is worse when I'm tired, so I eat well for breakfast and lunch. afternoon snack and dinner is a total crapshoot.

I have been having a lot of cramping which freaks me out because I dont remember this with DD1 or DD2. Dr. Google keeps reassuring me though!

  • @catlady2015 definitely having the same exact first trimester. I feel best in the morning and I’m a useless nauseous mess by the evening. DH and DS are mostly on their own while I lay in fetal position on the couch/floor and sip ginger ale. DH is being amazing though. Which props to him because I’m mean too.
  • Nausea all day every day.  Even the smell of the things that are supposed to help (like mint) make me nauseous.  The H and I are going on vacation next week and I'm not sure how I"m going to do on a plane for 8+ hours!
  • Right there with the rest of you getting my butt kicked by the nausea. It’s letting up in the middle of the day, but morning and evening I feel miserable.

My boobs. Oh dear god, my boobs. I couldn’t sleep last night because they ached so badly. Definitely my worst symptom by far.
  • Pain in my left hip/ass cheek. Gets worse when I walk. I had something similar with DS but it was way later into the 2nd trimester.

@Morningstar80 sciatica was my first indication I was pregnant with all three of mine. Started early and continued ALL the way through

  • The nausea sneak attacks. I’ll be fine one minute and the next I can’t move. My breasts are the other big one. And the nursing toddler is not helping. And randomly today my face hurts. I have no idea why. It just hurts.

  • I have a little bit of nausea and tender nips (still nursing my 2 yr old— time to wean!) but the biggest thing for me is I’m FREEZING all the time!! Wtf? It’s 87 degrees here. Also tired and irritable, but what else is new  :D

  • Boobs are sore and swollen, nose is super sensitive and nausea comes and goes but it is pretty mild. I'm early on so trying not to be nervous that my symptoms come and go but it is difficult sometimes.
  • Nausea still hasn't kicked in much for me yet (at 5 weeks 5 days).  Knock on wood...   This was my worst symptom for previous pregnancies.  But the fatigue and sore boobs.. oy.  I am usually ready for bed at 6 pm each day and my boobs feel like somebody has been punching them.  lol

  • Good morning! So far, my cramps have receded which is nice and nerve wracking at the same time, but i still have tender nips, and now today....finally the nausea is kicking in i think. everything smells awful, and i work in a very weird smelly place (call center) so thats great lol.
  • Oh. I forgot constipated. Damned iron prenatals. This was the worst for me last pregnancy. I think I already have an anal fissure too (TMI? :D)

  • @flyingmombula Omg I'm so cold all the time too! Did not realize this was a pregnancy symptom, I kept thinking I was just getting sick haha.
  • @christac1010 - omg, the snippiness. DH has commented on that a couple times already. He's being a prince and I'm being the wicked witch, but I just can't control it! Just do what needs to be done (everyone!) and no one will get hurt.

Plus, holy sore boobs! sleeping in a sports bra and I have to keep smacking DH's hand away because he wants to play with them. Love you honey, these aren't for you right now!

  • @catlady2015 Sleeping in sports bra is a good idea. I might have to try that tonight.
  • @purpleteacher82 - they hurt so bad whenever I take my bra off! I immediately swap for the sports bra if I'm at home and just sleep in it. Basically I live in a bra unless i'm showering. I have really found that it helps. I've already had to go up a band size already :(

  • @catlady2015 my nipples are the only part that hurt (like when DD climbs on me and shoves an elbow in them) but I also think my band size has increased because all my bras are cutting into my chest by the end of the day.

  • diann21  Yes I'm the same way! I was trying to explain it to DH this morning one min I'm fine then 2 sec later taking deep breaths &  trying to decided if I should run to the bathroom. Nausea hits like a ton of bricks.

When I hit 6 weeks, hello nausea. Now at 7 weeks, 3 days and it’s still here. Thankfully I’ve only thrown up twice: last Monday and yesterday morning. Yesterday mornings was awful. Woke up at 4:30 and felt it coming for 45 minutes. Fiiiinally puked my guts out at 5:15. Appetite comes and goes (mostly goes), which I hate. Also, very very tired. Boobs are sooo sore and have already grown an inch haha

  • These nausea waves are killing me & im so so tired. Luckily I had off today and napped on/off all day. We are going out to dinner shortly and I’m contemplating taking a 15 minute power nap haha! But the nausea is very real with this pregnancy, which is so hard for me because I didn’t have it at all with DS. Plus having to pee every 1/2 hour is extremely annoying. Hoping to be able to eat while we are out to dinner...FX. 7 weeks 6 days here...Onto the 8th week tmmrw!
  • Afternoons are god awful. It’s when nausea and exhaustion join forces to make me miserable.

My blump is out of control. I need my appointment to get here so we can share the news. My gut isn’t keeping the secret very well.
  • Oh my gosh I’m also nauseous, bloated, tired, and complaining. And SO HOT it’s 100+ degrees eternally in Texas this summer and I feel like I’m melting. Not helping the morning sickness ;(

  • I ate dinner 1 1/2 hours ago and now I can’t tell if I’m still hungry, nauseous or both...

  • Still not many symptoms besides fatigue and it's still concerning me, because it's sooo different than my pregnancy with DD.
  • Ahh I have missed these boards!! I’m freezing too! Also exhaustion has hit hard and nauseated along with vomiting today. I’m also super emotional! I cry at basically anything and I feel bad for my husband!
  • Nausea that isn't so bad that I'm puking (thank goodness, I'll take it - I was an all-day puker last time and have so much sympathy for all of you doing that), but bad enough to where it's hard to focus on things. Also major food and smell aversions.

Oh my gosh I’m watching So You Think You Can Dance right now and every since performance has made me cry so far. It’s a mess! Good luck to you two!
