Baby/toddler/kiddos crafts!

Hey mommas! I'm hoping to get a lot of craft ideas for the babies, the nursery, anything really. Being at home all the time gives me endless free time and I'm going stir crazy and since I love to craft I figured I'd share my ideas and maybe get some in return!
Feel free to share all things crafts! Blankets, clothes, decorations, cards, it can be like our own personal pinterest boards!

  • Oh man, I don't think this little is going to get anything crafted by mama. I knit a couple blankets for Z and designed a Star Wars themed cross stitch with his name and birthday. I'll snap pictures later if I remember. For #3 I ordered a cross stitch pattern off Etsy and hopefully I'll get around to buying the floss for it. :#

I had been planning to do a cross stitch for the baby but I have been having such low energy levels that I haven't worked on anything in months. I'm hoping that after my play opens at the end of next week I'll have enough energy to start up again!

I bought woodland animal embroidery patterns for baby. I may get to them eventually
  • I got stuck on bedrest and have two crocheted blankets started with matching hats and booties in mind. It's the only thing keeping me sane at this point :#

I have a knit blanket, knit sweater, and cross stitch blanket in the works for the little coconut.  None are finished yet, but eh, I have time. Lol.

I also have a crocheted cardigan and a knit sweater vest that I've been hoarding for a few years.  The sweater vest was meant to be my pregnancy announcement to H, but it never ended up getting used in that capacity because IF.

I'll add pics when I get a chance to take a couple.

No not at all! That's adorable for a little boy
  • Not too girlie! I think it looks great. I like how rich some of the blues are.
  • Y'all are awesome, i cant wait to see the crafts you ladies are working on!  <3
  • I'm planning to make a mobile, but I have zero inspiration at the moment. I might end up just making DD's mobile less girly and reusing it. I'm actually really excited because my MIL is making him a cross stitch birth announcement. I just think it's so sweet of her to put all of that time and effort into making something for her grandson. She is working on one for DD as well. I know there are plenty of other things she could be working on, so I love that she chose doing this instead.
  • that is so cute and works perfect for a boy!

I love to craft but I can never seem to finish anything I start :D

  • @acciocoffee my mom gave me this book awhile ago and it has some cute mobiles. It could also just give you ideas or inspiration for one.

  • I made a blanket for my daughter 3 years ago and never finished sewing in the ends.  It was gender neutral so maybe I will finish it up for this baby!!  I have a pink blanket I started for a friend that has been sitting next to my bed for over a year.
