Anxiety and pregnancy

Anyone else suffer from anxiety then got pregnant and the anxiety is just out of control? Ugh, I’m struggling!

  • You need to mention this to your OB. A number of us suffer from mental disorders, but your OB is going to be the person best equipt to help you.

  • My OB is aware. My therapist also, was just wanting to talk to others who are struggling..
  • I do. I am not currently taking any medication. Some days are harder than others. I try to find small ways of coping, such as trying differrent relaxation techniques.

  • I am and have struggled with anxiety for years. I’m off medication right now as it was recommended by my doctors for the pregnancy.  It can be tough but continue sharing with your therapist that’s the best place to get help

  • Lurking... I had anxiety throughout my entire pregnancy.  It got so much better during the third trimester.  I had clonopin for emergency situations and just knowing I had the option to take it helped me.  I also meditated and did yoga daily which helped the most.
