Rants/Raves/Questions? Ugh - the appointments are getting to me a little bit. I know that they're best for baby and I'm trying not to complain too much but holy crap, scheduling the appts around my work has been a mess. Everyone has been so understanding but I still feel like a slacker.
But total rave - my breast pump arrived! I'm starting to really realize that there's going to be a tiny person arriving soon and I'm getting super excited!

Any additional monitoring or testing this week?

    Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave--I finally made the call.  I'm using vacation time from August 30 until baby arrives (we will schedule induction no later than August 10).  I just can't anymore.  I need some time and I need to relax and take care of myself and baby.  Work and a constant impending "what if" hanging over my plan loving self is too much for me.  I just need to be off and have time to prepare.

Rant--still the freaking weather, but also DH just wants to keep spending money!  Now there is a tree he thinks has to be taken down ASAP.  His version of nesting is WAY more expensive than mine!

GTKY: What are three things on your bucket list?
    ziplining
    visiting Ireland
    visiting Germany

to be fair lots and lots of travel is on my bucket list lol

Any additional monitoring or testing this week? Going in for a 35w appointment tomorrow - going to get a growth scan and GBS. Cerclage comes out on July 23!!!

Rants/Raves/Questions? None this week - not really. I'm sure I'll think of a question or two later.

GTKY: What are three things on your bucket list?
    1. Visit 6 continents
    2. Become fluent in a foreign language
    3. Learn to play a musical instrument

@harleyquinn0621 So exciting we are getting our stitches out soon!! I'm pretty stoked but kind of freaking out too that it may hurt - like a lot.

@stac928 Good for you for making the call at work. Take that time to relax and prepare for baby!
  • @hezzer78 yeah, i'm a little afraid of the pain getting the stitch removed... but i just tell myself labor will probably be worse so i can get through it.. and hopefully the stitch removal is fast !

  • @harleyquinn0621 My OB told me yesterday it would feel pretty much just like a pelvic exam - maybe a bit more. She said I may feel some tugging, but that's really about it. But we've disagreed about pain levels before so who knows lol... I'll report back on Monday :)
