  Were you charting your temps? If not, it's possibly you ovulated later which is the reason for the 5w measurement.

  Hey there! Less than 5 weeks is pretty early to see much, so don't be too discouraged. Because they couldn't see the embryo yet, there wouldn't have had anything to measure to determine your due date. I presume they rescheduled you to come back in a few weeks for another ultrasound. They should be able to see more then.
  
  In the meantime, please introduce yourself in the intro thread, read the guidelines and get to know us. There's a thread for questions, for first time moms, and plenty of getting to know you posts. One off posts (like this) are discouraged because they tend to clutter up the board and make our other, more inclusive posts harder to find.
