Tell us about yourself! I’m off the bench!!!! Well as soon as AF leaves. For those who haven’t read my story, see spoiler below TW**BFP and loss mentioned**TW. My DH and I have been married for 4 years, TW*** we have a 2 yo DD end TW**, and we are hoping to add one more to our family. We live in the Midwest, love all things outside (canoeing, kayaking, hiking, running, volleyball) and staying active. I’m an accountant at a large corporation, I enjoy what I do but need to find my work/life balance, especially now.
I’ve been lurking the past 6 months but please forgive me if I ask a question that’s already been answered.
Hi all. Formalities first I guess:
Age: me 24, DH 25
TTC for: 2 months
WYDTGKU: trying to track with ovia, lots of BD, might start BBT at the 3mo mark. If we make it to 5mo we will be getting OPKs. PNVs since May (but my brand got discontinued so any suggestions would be baller!)
About me: Been off nexplanon since February and just regulated in May when we started NTNP, then began trying in earnest for our first after our wedding in June. Honestly I’ve been lurking for a few weeks and avoiding introducing myself because it’s like accepting that we will be TTC for a while. Sex Ed is all about how you’ll get KU the first time you have sex and it can happen anytime even during AF and it’s a great scare tactic for abstinence purposes but really gets ya in the wrong kind of hopeful mindset when you’re ready for a LO. Mildly infuriating. Everyone in my circle was a one and done when it came to TTC before a BFP and so while I know others have had tragedies and frustrations for longer than I’ve even seriously considered TTGP, I’m still disappointed it hasn’t happened yet. Less serious note, I’m in the restaurant industry and DH is a chef. We tend to binge TV, and I love to bake and read trash fantasy novels. I love Greek tragedies, eating more than I ought, and being Rickrolled. We’ve got 2 kitties who have the worlds softest toes and we are in the final steps of planning a cross country move (PA to MN).

How long TTC: Actually we haven't actively stared yet. We know the exact date that I will get my IUD removed and when we will start trying. Since I am lurking so much I thought I should introduce myself. I will stay pretty low key for the next couple months while we are getting ready to actively start trying, but I wanted to at least introduce myself since I am lurking so much.
What are we doing? Nothing yet. I know when I'll get my IUD out and I am reading a ton of info and lurking here to get an idea of what to expect and watch for.
About myself? I am a piano teacher and I absolutely love it! I have the most wonderful and inspiring students. I have a 3 year old daughter and a nine year old kitty. I love playing piano, sewing, knitting, and doing puzzles (I guess I'm an old lady). I LOVE Big Brother, which makes summer one of my favorite seasons.
Thanks for all the great advice so far ladies! I'm excited to become more active on this board in the coming months.

Anyways, DH is a firefighter and I work for the public schools as a counselor. We love to camp in the summer time and we have two kitties! So nice to meet you all.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPKs, tracking on Ovia and FF, BBT, PNV
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My H and I are both teachers. We have the summer off and like to take road trips, find new restaurants, museums, and off the beaten path places to explore. I like to read, take zumba and dance classes, be outdoors, and watch HGTV and the Food Network cooking shows while pretending that my life is that fabulous and put together lol. We have one DD who is 20 months old.

@aliciac2008 As for Big Brother, I watched it a couple times but never really got into it. I have always been more of a Bachelor girl but have given up on that a little lately. I may have to check out BB again though sometime this summer.
How many months have you been TTC? TW not sure if this counts but we have been TTC for 9 months , ive been pregnant twice during that time but had MMC both times.
What are you doing to get knocked up ? lots of BD, OPK ... kind of benched right now since TW i miscarried less then 2 weeks ago but weve decided not to prevent
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) MH and i just celebrated our 5 year anniversary , we have a DD who is 3. I work in public relations. We just bought a camper and have been camping every week end. I love zumba and usually do 3 classes a week!

I am a nursing student and a home health nurse. I plan on switching to pre-med after I complete this program, I am really interested in pediatric and neonatal surgery . I had the old baby bump app so I'm excited to be on this one !

OPKs and BBT, although temping isn’t going well because I have a toddler who still wakes up at random times most nights and my temperature was all over the place. anyone have the Ava bracelet and love it?

SAHM to a newly 2 year old boy. I like to run over naptime while watching shows and recently did a half marathon. I love to bake but don’t seem to have a lot of time for it now. I’m still nursing so I’m not sure how that will play into TTGP. Looking forward to having other people to talk to during this journey!
Ages (you and SO): I'm going to be 38 in August- hard to believe this because I don't feel 38!! And hubby will be 46 this October.
How many months have you been TTC? We have not really started necessarily, but been talking about it. I definitely want to have another, I think hubby is on board most days. We are not preventing necessarily either. I have not been on any BC since we had our DS.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing really at the moment
:.....we've been going through some more trying times in our relationship in the last 6 months, so we are working through that. However, I'd like to start TTC in the near future. I want to be more prepared than we were last go round.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I work full time, and am wishing for more time at home. DS is so much fun and only being off on the weekends, our time together is limited. Hubby is self employed, trying to establish himself as a realtor. This has been one of the "issues" we've had.......He's very financially responsible, which I 110% support, however, the fact that he is SO financially aware of things also means, that sometimes he is VERY hesitant to move forward with anything. I'm really just here for any of the new up to date things that people have been using to make TTC a little easier- like the new clear blue OPKS or maybe even interested in the Ava bracelet. And for supporting others!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BDing, been using Flo to track my cycle for 6 months
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I’m an instructional designer for a high end grocer. I like to cross stitch and do crafty things, binge watch shows like Downton Abbey, Doctor Who, The Office, “read” audio books. I have an almost 3 yr old DD and I try to get as much time with her on weekends as possible. I’m currently trying to plan a surprise 30th party for my DH.
How many months have you been TTC? This was our first official month of trying
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I am tracking my cycle using the Flo app. We have been trying to conceive the five days before ovulation, ovulation day and the day after. I have been trying to make some lifestyle changes like staying under 12 ounces of coffee a day, etc. I did use an OPK but, I had some strange results so, I don't know about those just yet haha. Other than that, that is all we are doing!

I am Canadian, live in Nova Scotia and love it and I share my home with my husband of a little over a year, and my lovely little fur baby, Jack.

Months TTC: 2+3 benched. Currently WTO. We weaned LO (15mos) a week and a half ago, so hoping that helps.
What are are you doing? OPKs, CM. I’ve charted for years for NFP so I’m pretty on top of when I’m fertile.
About me: I loved the bump community with my April 17 baby and also for the PGAL forums at the time. I like doing stuff like this with others who are in a similar situation. We tried for 12 months total to conceive our first. It really feels like here it’s nice to be able to celebrate with and encourage others.
I became a SAHM after our first was born and I’ve discovered the fun things that go with being a SAHM of one so far: book club, MOMS club, daily yoga, etc. I’m so grateful for where I am, and I am hopeful that the road to our second LO is a little smoother, but I know that the bump is a nice community for when it isn’t. I have an MA in philosophy but am not actively seeking to use it, and hoping to one day homeschool anyway, so I will likely be a SAHM for awhile.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? tracking my cycle, using first response and clearblue OPKs next cycle will be using the Wondfo. Will begin to temp.
