I don't like Laikyn personally. As a PP said, I don't know how to read that. It's going to get mispronounced AND mispelled frequently. If you have to use it, I'd go with it as a middle name.

Laikyn isn't going to get a lot of love on this board. It would be considered to be a "made up" spelling/name by most. I have seen it spelled Laiken, but I don't really care for that either. I also agree using Brooke as a mn would be a little overkill on the water related names.
