Pregnant Pillow

hiya everyone! I’m already struggling with tossing and turning & finding a comfortable position. My last pregnancy I used a pregnancy pillow and it def made things better! Wanted to see if anyone had a specific brand in mind that they loved!? Or any brands to stay away from?

Re: Pregnant Pillow

  • I was obsessed with my Snoogle last time. I'm already looking forward to breaking it out again. I'm going to get a new cover since it was a little worn after 9 months, but other than that I love it!

  • I had 2 regular pillows I used last time. I’ll probably do the same this time, or use the boppy.

  • @brookepdavis My thoughts exactly. Can't wait to get the Snoogle back out.
  • I'm all about the Snoogle! (Not sure my husband feels the same way - at least we have a king sized bed this time around!)
  • I had a boppy pregnancy pillow the last two times but it is waaaaaay past it’s prime. I’m looking at getting a U shaped pillow and I’m stupid excited about it lol

My husband hated my pregnancy so much he did a dance when he threw it out at the end of my last pregnancy. I am SO getting a new one!

Edited: I meant “pregnancy pillow”. For the record he did not hate my pregnancy. Lol. The pregnancy brain is starting already. Help!
  • The Snoogle saved me last pregnancy. My back pain was so bad that I was having spasms by the end of the first trimester. By the end of my pregnancy, especially after 8 weeks of bed rest, my hips ached so bad. The only thing that helped either issue was my Snoogle. DH hated it and it stayed in bed probably longer than it should have because I would wrap it up to help BF/bottle feed.

Also I picked up mine at Motherhood Maternity with bump bucks that I earned from some new clothes. It helped save money and I would have bought the clothes anyway.
  • Last time was awful and we had what DH dubbed my pillow fort. I had pillows stuffed everywhere. This time I’m investing in a nice pregnancy pillow so I can get some sleep!

  • FYI There's a Prime Day deal on a Bluestone U-shaped pregnancy pillow starting at 3:10 today.
  • for those of you with a snoogle, how much of a bedhog is it? Does it require a king if you want DH to sleep with you? we currently have a full.

  • @catlady2015 a full will be tight with a snoogle. We have a queen and it definitely takes up my whole half of the bed.
  • I had a snoogle my last go round.  We had a queen size bed until the end of pregnancy and I totally wacked DH in the head with it every night. I let DH throw it out after a year of just sitting there after pregnancy.  I have regrets now.
  • I looooove the boppy wedge pillow. I tried a few of the bigger ones and just couldn’t get used to feeling like their was a 3rd adult human in the bed! Ha! The wedge was perfect for supporting my tummy while laying on my side.
  • @greenbee thanks for the heads up! I bought it
