My RE tested my vitamin D levels and had me start supplementing Vitamin D. Also CoQ10, Methyl Folate, prenatal vitamin. Also had DH start taking fertilaid for men (but our diagnosis is male factor).
I would also suggest the book It Starts with the Egg. It has great suggestions on supplements, dietary changes and also household toxins to eliminate to improve egg quality.
I have PCOS so I am taking myo-inositol, NAC, Ubiquinol (Co-Q10), and a prenatal with methyl folate and chromium.
Other things I'm doing to prepare...
I have the Circle + Bloom IVF program on my phone. It's a relaxation mind/body meditation you listen to. I initially bought it for my IUI cycles years ago but turns out it'll come in handy now it's actually geared more towards IVF patients so I may benefit from it more this time around. While I listen to it I'm gonna do my castor oil packs. I don't know if there's any validity to it but it feels really good to do a belly massage and rest with a hot pack in bed so... can't hurt. I also have a lady in town who's a doula and massage therapist and she does a special IVF massage series. She did some massages for me on my IUI cycle and she's reeeeeeeeeeeally good. Like, one of the best massages I've ever had. She uses hot stones and WOW, I felt amazing afterwards. Again, not sure if it'll do anything to improve my chances but shit, if I'm putting myself through the stress of IVF the *least* I can do for myself is sign up for a massage series, right?
