Monday is my appointment for a follow up ultrasound. I'll be a little over 22 weeks. Excited to see LO but a little nervous, hoping for good results with the cyst in the baby and hoping my placenta is starting to move.
Wednesday, 24+2. I will be asking about my aspirin regimen and possible bleeding effects during birth to baby and myself Incase I need to be induced early again. Or when I should stop taking it.
Have a PT appt Friday (will be 25 weeks). Going in for "pelvic floor discomfort" and got the paperwork in the mail telling me to wear loose clothes and be prepared for either a vaginal or rectal exam... ugh. Hoping they can provide some relief and that it lasts longer than my last appt, where the relief only lasted about 20 minutes.

Regular OB appointment and going over my A/S results, I assume.
Questions/Comments/Concerns:
I'm 99% sure everything was fine with my A/S since the tech said everything looked great and they haven't contacted me in the two weeks in between to tell me that they need to see me sooner, but there always that lingering "what if" that nags at me.
This morning. I am 21 weeks exactly. Just a normal OB appointment. Little boy was turning and kicking and sitting on my bladder so I knew everything was fine with him, but it was good to hear the heartbeat. The doctor I saw today was not my usual and I really don't like her. She was just speeding through the appointment. Didn't even tell me anything about the belly measurement (this was the first time doing it) or what the heartbeat was. And then made me all nervous about saying I am most likely going to have to go on insulin. Afterwards, took my BP, which of course was high, and saying I need to monitor until Wednesday and then call again because she was concerned. Ugh! Of course it was high, you just made me nervous!
Oh yeah, then she goes on about, "if you don't control your blood sugar it can be dangerous." Really? No, that is why I have put myself on a strict diet I hate and will have to do for 4 more months! I am not taking this lightly, I wish they wouldn't treat me that way.
@lifesabeach85 thanks for the warning! However I have to admit that Salads are not what I've been getting from McDonald's recently... *cough* quarter pounder with cheese..
@bfpafter4years sorry your appointment was less than great. I hate having to see doctors besides the one I specifically chose. Hopefully you won't have to deal with them much (or again at all).
When is your appointment? Tuesday, 7/17. How far along will you be? 24 weeks What is being addressed? Normal heart rate and measurements Questions/Comments/Concerns: DSD is here for the week so I will have two kids to tag-along instead of one, hoping they behave. Also have to talk to the billing person again because they keep billing all of my appointments to my insurance from 2016. Nothing like having a mini-heart attack when you get a bill in the mail every month for $500+ dollars.
Sorry to get on a soap box here but PLEASE get your tdap booster in your third trimester. It won’t just help protect you from getting it and passing it to baby, it can give baby some protection too. Anyone who will have regular contact with your baby - spouse, grandparents, nannies, etc - should get one too. I read this in the news and it makes me so sad that this could happen in 2018 https://www.google.com/amp/www.latimes.com/local/california/la-me-ln-whooping-cough-death-20180717-story.html%3foutputType=amp
I was super strict on Tdap and flu last time, especially having a premie during prime flu season. Mostly everyone agreed, though my dad resisted. When DD was in the NICU I told him he couldn’t hold her until he got it. I was not messing around. Our hospital wouldn’t even allow anyone in there without proper shots. I fully plan to enforce it again this time.
