Trying to Get Pregnant

FFFC 7/13

Let's hear it ladies!

People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

How I feel all of the time.

Re: FFFC 7/13

  • I'm completely clueless when it comes to makeup. Walking into ulta makes me feel anxious. I've watched several YouTube tutorials and still feel clueless. I'm also trying to find a routine that doesn't take too long. I also practice putting on eyeliner before my nightly routine so I can just wash it off when I don't draw the lines straight.
  • @spacemountianeer, I don't want to act like I am an expert or anything, but I wear makeup every day, and don't get how people say it takes them half an hour to do their make up.  It makes me feel like I am doing something wrong....

  • @spacemountianeer practice is the best you can do. And, any routine you start will feel like it takes a long time in the beginning. It will quickly become second nature and take no time at all. I've only recently started wearing it daily (change in job required more professionalism). I do primer, foundation or CC cream, brows, mascara, lower liner, and blush in about 10/ 15 min tops. There are days where it takes longer. But on those days I'm surfing TB or FB and sipping coffee in between steps because I just need the time to myself.
  • @spacemountianeer right there with ya. I just started over Christmas  All I do is foundation to even my skin tone and the elf eye makeup since they have instructions on where to put each color.

I've never been to an ocean/beach.
  • I've never actually timed it but it could be quicker. All I know is DH is always giving me a hard time for taking so long even though I know it doesn't.
  • I only wear eye liner and mascara but I never take my make up off before bed. The only time I really wash my face is in the shower.

  • I don't get how it takes people forever either to put on makeup. I do primer, concealer, foundation, smokey eye, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and eyebrows in 4 minutes if I'm in a rush. When I take my time, I'm done in 10 minutes tops.
  • @spacemountianeer one tip to speed up the process is to use a stick blush on your cheeks, eyes, and lips. The Clinic Chubby sticks are awesome. I just swip a little on each area and I'm done with half my makeup!
  • I use a bare minerals serum, then I brush foundation on, forget about the mineral veil because I don't really understand that part. Then I line under my lashes with their charcoal eyeliner pencil, throw on some mascara and some katy perry lip gloss. That's when I'm really trying. 8 mins tops.

When I don't really care, I throw on moisturizer, mascara (maybe eyeliner if I'm feeling it) and chapstick. 3 mins.

Whatever you're using, just make sure there isn't a lot of crap in it because all of that smearing it all over your face all of the time will cause wrinkles and clogged pores.

@mermaidca I don't wash makeup off either but I use an organic zinc soap in the shower to make sure my pores don't clog.
