@pink_polkadots what will they be looking for exactly at the 28 week one? Just curious cause my NT measurement was abnormal also. Didnt you get NIPS blood test done if I can remember correctly?
@bkosy I am not sure, I guess to make sure no physical abnormalities develop? I asked and she said it’s just procedure for them. I did get the NIPT which came back negative for chromosomal abnormalities.
Baby's latest glamour shot from anatomy scan today at 19 weeks. Trying to suck it's thumb and the tech had to chase it around in there. No idea about the measurements or anything because I didn't see my doctor, but baby looked pretty good to us
My little wriggler at 17w5d. Had the anatomy scan a little early because I have a heart condition and they wanted to check out baby’s heart early. Everything looked good with baby although it was too early to get a heap of heart detail so I’ll be going back for another scan in a couple of weeks. Did find out we have Single Umbilical Artery, although my OB didn’t seem overly concerned about that.
Here is our tater tot at 19weeks didn’t want to find out the gender and I don’t see the midwife for another two weeks. I’ll be 22 weeks by then. The ultrasound tech doesn’t say much but said placenta was in a good spot and baby was very cooperative for measurements. Literally waving at us in this picture! Praying for all good results from the midwives
Here's our little Terminator baby today at 19 + 3. I was so hoping for a cute picture and to get to see him in profile since it's been 2 months since I last saw him, but apparently he had other plans.
Had the anatomy scan for our squirmy worm today!! Still team green, baby is 14 oz which she said is 63rd percentile. Baby was super wiggly and adorable. The only concern she had was a cardiac or echogenic focus on the heart, which is one of the soft markers for Downs. She said when she sees that she automatically checks for all other markers, and didn’t see any, and that this almost always turns out to be nothing. She even said if there was to be something she would find on an ultrasound for her own kids, she would want this to be it, so I’m trying to stay positive! Anyone have any experience with this?
20 week anatomy scan last week. Little girl is active, healthy and already a diva. She has fluid in one of her kidneys so going to a MFM specialist Friday for monitoring.

@phoenix870509 That cracks me up! Your baby girl is like "I can't even!" and she's not even out of the womb yet! @firsttimespartanmom I don't have any experience with that specific marker, but my first baby had a marker for trisomy 13 during the anatomy scan, but she is just fine. This baby had a marker for down's syndrome because her head was measuring pretty big, but we're not really concerned since DD's head is big too. I wouldn't worry too much about the marker because they seem to find them on almost all babies nowadays! I know it's hard not to think about it though.
I had an abnormal quad screen and have had my 20 week ultrasound and a level two ultrasound only thing found is kidneys at 4.2 instead of 4.0 and took the cell free DNA test today just patiently waiting for results to confirm everything is definitely ok. Talk about stress Any one else experiencing this?
Had a regular OB appt today and she decided she didn’t want to wait to do the anatomy scan in two weeks when we got back from vacation, so surprise! We got to see our little one unexpectedly. Everything looks exactly how it should with the tiny exception that baby is measuring a whole TWO WEEKS ahead! I don’t know how common that is, but I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when the tech told us! I was a big baby (10lbs!) but DH was average at just over 7lbs. Can’t wait to hear what the OB says about it!
Loving seeing all your scans! My appointment isnt until July 12th, so I’m trying to stay patient! Can’t wait to see my little one again and find out its gender!
I had to wait until 21weeks 5days for my anatomy scan (which is TOMORROW!!). My practitioner got sick and I had to reschedule, which messed up all my appointments. Alas, at least we get to see him tomorrow morning! And we did the blood test so we knew early on we’re having a little boy. Love seeing everyone’s pictures though!
@firsttimespartanmom Had our AS as well which also showed a couple things, one being what sounds similar- shiny spot in the heart that is correlated with Downs but the other markers were fine. The OB said this happens commonly amongst happy/healthy babies and not to worry. Definitely hard not to worry though... hang in there! Do you have a follow up us?
Our little Olivia is doing very well--healthy and wiggling all over the place. She was on one side, but the ultrasound tech needed her to flip so we could see her heart, and she did! Healthy all over and measuring right on track for her due date.

@jkmartin723 we were offered the option of being referred for a level 2 with an MFM or another in-office ultrasound with the OB in 8-12 weeks. I’m waiting to make the final decision until my next doctors appointment a week from Wednesday because I want to understand if anything would change as far as my prenatal care if something were to show up on the level 2. My dr sounded like yours and said this is relatively common and usually means nothing if there are no other markers, so I’m trying not to worry. Do you have a follow up scheduled?
Anatomy scan went great! Little man was moving all over the place and covering his face with his arms, but we got everything we needed and everything looked perfect.
I think he looks like the younger of his twin brothers.
Got to see baby boy today! He was quite a mover, just like his sister. Everything looked good and he was measuring right on track! And look at that nose! Just like his daddy.
My Little Dot is getting sooooo big! Tech estimated baby weighs 14 oz!

Had a great AS today! Little girl was sucking her thumb the whole time and didn't cooperate for too many photos, but we managed to get a decent 3D shot, thumb sucking and all
Had my follow up AS today to make sure that everything was great (couldn't get precise measurements on the stomach last week)-- all looks good! So thankful and excited!
Doctor said everything is going very smoothly and measuring a few days ahead of schedule. Got pictures of those little bitty feet and she looks to really like sucking her hands already! *tears of joy with those baby feet*

I do have an anterior placenta so that can explain why I am not feeling him moving around in there. So glad everything is measuring on track.
