    Testing: BFN 2 days ago, didn't bring any sticks to the in-laws. Just not how I want to find out, although DH wants to get some to test anyways. I just told him waiting on AF to show up any day now.

    My godson just turned 1 this past Wednesday and his party is tomorrow! I'm so excited to spend time with our best friends and our godson. Plus its a super hero pool party!

    @meri-mac I just  cleaned some of our fridge shelves this week because something (I think lime juice) leaked down the inside of the fridge door. I just soaked them all in hot soapy water then rinsed them off. Good luck!

    @thrgirlwhowaited Ooo I love the party plans! We got half of our fridge cleaned on Tuesday, but ran out of space and steam to continue. Everything was well soaped and scrubbed. Some sugary glue like substance had fused some jars to the top shelf :s Hope you have a good trip despite AF <3

    R/R: Rave: It's Friday!! This week seems to have gone by slowly, and I'm excited for the weekend. We're going out to breakfast with some friends tomorrow and than heading to our town's summer festival.

    Rant: tw pregnancy

    We're going to a dinner party thing this evening and it's us and three other other couples. All of the guys were past roommates or highschool buddies of my husband's. I've met one of the couples a few times, but not really well and don't know any of the others at all. And two of the women are pregnant. And one of them is the daughter-in-law of the woman hosting the dinner party, so I'm sure it'll be a big focus of conversation as it's a first in their family I think. I think it's harder when it's people like this. When it's close friends of my own, I'm also so happy for them that it helps. But I'm really dreading the group doing the somewhat inevitable split and getting stuck with these women I don't know at all just going on about their pregnancies. I mean, let's be honest, from the sheer boredom factor, I wouldn't have been into that situation before TTC, but now it's just worse.

    @meri-mac - The struggle is real with house cleaning vs. video games! My husband got me Fallout 4 for my birthday and I've pretty much been sucked into that for the last week and a half while my house crumbles around me. Should probably do something about it...

    @thrgirlwhowaited - I hope you have a great weekend! A superhero pool party sounds like a blast!

    @meri-mac GL with cleaning! I find that my best cleaning motivation is having something else on my to do list that is even more important and tedious than cleaning. (Taxes, getting ready for work, etc.)

    @auburnvelvet86 have a great weekend! Sounds like some fun plans. ☺️ Is this the kind of summer festival with music bands or the kind with ferris wheels?

    @meri-mac Cleaning the house is the pits but the feeling of satisfaction afterwards is the best.

    @auburnvelvet86 It sounds like you have such a fun weekend planned! I hope your dinner goes well and the conversation expands beyond that topic.

    @loveanddatadriven - I don't know! This is the first summer we'll have been at this house, so I haven't been to this before. I grew up in a small town that has the ferris wheel/cow barn type of festivals. But this is a suburb and DH has never been to any town festivals, I don't think. He's overly excited while I'm rather skeptical. I mean, if you don't have the stench of manure mixing with cotton candy, is it even REALLY a festival? ;)

    @auburnvelvet86 The Fallout Struggle is real! I have been sucked into the new South Park game as well as Horizon Zero Dawn. So so good!

    @nanner26 The main goal is the kitchen and the sitting room, which is just a jumbled mess of a room with no real purpose. I hope we can make it more functional.

    @meri-mac I find cleaning to be relaxing and so rewarding! It’s just the matter of building up my energy/discipline to get started  :D

    @auburnvelvet86 oof, that doesn’t sound like much fun :/ I hope breakfast with friends makes up for it! What kind of breakfast food do you like?

    Testing: trying very hard to hold out until next weekend when Clue predicts AF but as I’ve said, Ovia predicts AF tomorrow so I kind want to test this weekend. Only one HPT in the cabinet, though, so trying to avoid buying more so I’m not encouraging myself to test!
    R/R: I have to work tomorrow which always makes me grumble. Not much else planned for the weekend though which is nice:)

    @meri-mac Ugh, I always hate cleaning the fridge for reasons like that, you never know what kind of crap leaked and is now stuck on and can only be removed with a chisel.  I hope it at least goes quickly!

    @thrgirlwhowaited You had me at pool party lol.  Enjoy, it sounds like it will be an awesome time!  Also, I always like to think being around babies like that, maybe they can talk to my ute and tell it to get its ish together; unfortunately, that method has yet to work

    @auburnvelvet86 I hope the dinner party goes better than you’re expecting; can you set up a code word or something with YH if things get to be too much for you?

    @loveanddatadriven Uneventful weekends are the best!!  Especially when you are able to go the whole day wearing pajamas.  Enjoy!!

    @nanner26 I’m sorry that the summer has gone by so quickly; I hope the rest of it slows down so you can enjoy (seemingly) more time with your family!

    @Swiftlet If you have to work tomorrow, I hope that the day at least goes quickly!

    @swiftlet - Pretty much whatever is the most unhealthy on the menu? But I'm a sucker for eggs benedict and egg sandwiches in general.

    @lulu1180 - Yeah, I've already mentioned my concerns to him, so I think he'll be on board to help prevent us getting split up by the sexes, so hopefully that will help. He's usually really good at reading my face and jumping in when conversations head south, so that's great. Good luck with the studying!

    @auburnvelvet86 Agreed! I also grew up in a small town, but have transplanted myself to the burbs since then. Running into people you know at the fair is half the fun!
