Re: July Randoms

  • So I tried to climb a mountain today. It's been a few years and I'm pretty confident I'll feel like I was hit by a truck tomorrow (based on how I feel in these more hours after....).
  • @prpl11butterfly a mountain? Like hiking or actual rock climbing. Either way, damn! That’s crazy. I hope you aren’t too sore.

  • Hiking. We would have had to climb rocks if we'd gone to the mountain DH wanted to go too..... I would have died.
  • @prpl11butterfly I also went hiking for the first time in a long time on Friday....little sore today. We climbed up and down a few steep hills looking for this natural bridge only to find out it was at the beginning of the trail and we had already stood on it. Lol....at least I got a workout in!
  • You guys are amazing for hiking. The thought of doing that right now makes me want to crawl in the fetal position no lie LOL

  • One of my future fitness goals is to learn how to rock climb! I love hiking, and I love challenging hikes, but I'm nervous about actual rock climbing because my upper body strength is... lacking. It sucks because my legs, back, shoulders, and abdomen are so strong but my arms are absolutely useless :\
  • Awe I wish I could go on a hike!! At 28 weeks with twins that would be a nightmare...
  • @wishiwaspreggo a rock climbing gym would be a great place to start. They usually have courses of varying difficulty.
