Testing: Trying so hard to wait until Friday. Although we may be at my in-laws Thursday night so I may test Thursday morning. I kept thinking about it laying in bed this morning, but I managed to get through my fmu without grabbing a test.
R/R: Coming back to work after 5 days out of the office has been hard. I can't seem to focus.
Testing: Od today (positive opk yesterday + today) and have two weeks until expected af, so a full two weeks
R/R: Ugh, none. DH and I are teaching VBS at our church all week and are exhausted
CS/Q: Anyone else on Femara lately? My two best friends were on it in the past year and both conceived first cycle. This is my second cycle, but trying so hard not to get my hopes up after seeing their success!
@thrgirlwhowaited You can do it!! I have faith in you. Your timing looks great so fx and hugs!
@purpleteacher82 We will be here if it doesn't happen We have all done the symptom spotting and the googling of "Nausea at 6dpo"...and by we I mean me How is your summer break going?
@oklahomak Holy cow! The timing is incredible. Hopefully your TWW will be filled with interesting activities to keep you occupied. What is VBS?
Typical LP length: 14-15 although I am thinking it might be shorter based on CM tracking
Testing: No
R/R: I am an old married broad back at work. Nothing too extraordinary seemed to take place while I was away and nothing caught on fire. Luckily, one of our clinicians was able to help my replacement out. Nothing to rant or rave about particularly. I am not sad to be at work nor would I have said no to another week of vacation. I am sleepy, but it is quiet right now. Pretty good day so far *knock on wood*.
@meri-mac lol! We are probably too eager and have only missed one day this cycle. Not sure if that's really that much more helpful, but we're trying whatever will work! Thank you! VBS is Vacation Bible School, a kids summer program at our church where we bring in kids from the community and do rotations with games, crafts, lessons, singing, etc. and give out school supplies.
@meri-mac Congrats on the wedding! I hope everything went smoothly! I remember being so relieved when my wedding was done and life could get back to normal. Summer is flying by. I go back to work in about 5 weeks and I am so not ready for that.
@meri-mac congrats!! Hope everything was as wonderful as you planned.
@purpleteacher82 I'm right there with you but with lack of symptoms when I'm usually going crazy over pms symptoms.
Month/Cycle: 7/7

Typical LP length: 13ish
Testing: mostly likely this weekend
R/R: trying to keep my mind off of this tww. Even tho our timing was good I'm still not optimistic. If it doesn't happen this cycle, we are out next cycle since we will be on vacation with the in laws (with shared bedrooms) during my fw.
@nanner26 It shouldn't really be possible but I guess it could depend on how long your period is and if you count the days of spotting and have an early O.
Month/Cycle: 8/9
CD/DPO: 21/12
Timing: -1,O,+1
Typical LP length: 14ish
Testing: BFN and spotting yesterday so I'm really just waiting for AF at this point.
R/R: Work is going to be super busy the next few weeks and I just don't wanna.
@asupernovablizzardstorm It went amazingly well. It was a family & friends barbecue at a big house. The food was so well done and the matriarchs of MH family were so on top of everything food related. It was a beautiful day and everyone said it was the best way to do a wedding
@nanner26 We stayed at the venue where we got married. We rented a big farmhouse for a week so it was like a mini-honeymoon. We may plan a trip for next year with some friends.
@asupernovablizzardstorm
I hope you’re able to keep your mind occupied!
If this isn’t your cycle, I hope you’re able to somehow find time to HIO
while on vacation next cycle!
@nanner26 Are
you tracking O with BBT and OPKs? As for
your question, if you have a long period, it is possible to O shortly after.
@Sparty18 Sorry

Testing: I have no idea, since I don’t know when I ovulated and I don’t know when to expect AF. Ovia says AF this Saturday based on the length of my last cycle (they’ve been getting progressively shorter), Clue says July 21 based on my average cycle length for the last 7mos. So maybe if I test early next week I’d cover both possibilities? Or maybe I should wait til the weekend of the 21st? Thoughts appreciated...
R/R: Really enjoying work lately butttt I have tomorrow off and am very excited:)
@Sparty18 Sorry to hear that friend. Be kind to yourself.
@lulu1180 Sorry you didn't sleep well. It is something I struggle with often as well and it always makes for such a rough day. Hope you get some decent sleep tonight.

@meri-mac congrats! @nitnat007 I was waiting to see if you knew anything before your appt...
and I know everyone is on pins and needles about the floor stain. Due to the mix of woods (heartwood Pine on the stairs and red/white oak throughout), we chose clear coat! It actually blends the wood types better than a stain. def honoring our 100+ yr old floors.
@chichiphin It's super easy!! You click the paragraph button above the text box (it looks kind of like a backwards "P") and then choose spoiler. A small gray box will appear; you click inside that and then add a photo as you normally would. Anything that will post in the spoiler will appear inside the gray box when you're typing.
If you want to put text in a spoiler, I suggest typing out what you want first and then selecting the text you want to spoiler than adding the spoiler it as I stated above.

@Swiftlet It’s so hard not to do! Last cycle I had convinced myself I wasn’t KU (which I wasn’t) and this cycle I am convinced I am. Only time will tell, I guess!
purpleteacher82 fx we can both wait! It's awkward for me to test somewhere but home. I want that moment where I feel completely comfortable and private.
@meri-mac Thanks! this is the best timing we've ever had! I'm glad your wedding was amazing! We did a simple back yard wedding and it was so nice to not have all the flashy busy stuff going on.
@lulu1180 Ha! I said that first thing this morning and it ended up being a crazy busy day so I didn't really have a choice but to focus! Funny how that works sometimes.
@nitnat007 I'm right there with you on the waiting still, but I'm glad it went well.
R/R: Rant: I'm working on this committee trying to write an annual report for our library. We've been working on it for about 6 months and I'm in charge of the general design and layout. Throughout those months, everyone has had opportunities to provide feedback on the general content and layout, and several people who were clearly not invested in this process only said things like "this looks great!" And then today , at one of our last meetings when we were doing a final copy eidt of the completed report, they decided that the whole thing needs to be re-done. Completely ignoring the months and months of work that myself and the others who actually did work on the group had put in And now we're essentially at a stalemate between them and the rest of us on what to do next. It's infuriating. I'm hopeful that we'll come out of it ok though since "my side" has about 6 months' worth of meeting minutes to support the fact that they had chances to provide feedback like this and essentially passed on them. Rave: One of my co-workers, who's always been a bit distant and hard for me to figure out, is in my camp on this subject, so the shared rage is really providing a bonding point for us!
CS/Q: Nope
@lulu1180 - Thank you so much for your thoughtful words yesterday. I think self-care is crucial. I feel that I'm good at practicing it in general life, but I need to focus on finding ways that specifically help with this unique stress point.
@meri-mac - Congrats!! I'm with you on the particular joys of small, laid back weddings. I'm sure it was a blast for everyone and hope it was everything you wished for!
@Sparty18 - I'm so sorry about the BFN. I know that you didn't have high hopes for this cycle, but it is still hard to see, I'm sure. Best wishes for you!
@nitnat007 - I'm glad your RE appointment went well and that you have some plans for action ahead of you.
Fx for everyone who is getting close to their testing windows! I hope that time flies and good news awaits us all.
*lurking* @meri-mac Congrats on the wedding! So glad you had a great time. Getting back into the groove of work is so hard after being on a high like that and enjoying some time off.

@meri-mac Congrats on the wedding! So glad you had a great time. Getting back into the groove of work is so hard after being on a high like that and enjoying some time off.
Eeeeeek Mrs. @meri-mac! Congrats again and welcome back. Firsts are so much fun and I hope that you enjoy all of them. If you get the chance, I would love to see a picture of you in your dress obs from behind or something because the internet.

welcome back @meri-mac!! Glad the wedding went well! Have been thinking about you. Hope it was everything you dreamed of. We’re thinking of ways we can do a small, laid back backyard wedding too. We keep joking we’re going to do it the week my mom’s away because she drives me bananas when she gets too excited about stuff and it would be hilarious to see her freak out once she realizes she’s not going to be here. Obv we would never do that to her but my SO loves to prank her.
